Summary: A thoroughly enjoyable series
Review: Animals, conspiracy, and space. What could be a better combination for a relaxing read? Jody Lynn Nye has created a believeable world that could be our own if we were in space. Taylor is a space-doctor with animals that serve as intelligent walking laboratories. She also has a visitor from another planet who shares her love for candy. On Mars, waiting for her husband while pregnant, we learn all about red-tape and governmental restrictions. Taylor flees the planet, but falls into a strange series of problems that ultimately bring her fame... and just a little fortune.

Summary: I'd like a sequel.
Review: I found myself getting really invested in the characters and creatures in this book. There seems to be more stories and adventures waiting out there for them. I'm waiting...

Summary: Down to earth sf novel with people you want in your family
Review: Story of working class people trying to make a living and see the universe. The separations are one that many young couples can identify with. It's nice to have ordinary people in a novel who beleive in love and loyalty. Of course, cute aliens don't hurt. There are no great truths to learn in this novel, (but you should already know them) and it has few real suprises, but its a relaxing read after a long day in your corporate jungle.
