Summary: The Return of Galen Sword!
Review: Dear Denizens of the Second World ...

Yes, there is a third Galen Sword novel!

We -- the authors, Judith & Garfield Reeves-Stevens -- wrote the manuscript the same year NIGHTFEEDER appeared. It was bought and paid for by the publisher -- we even made editorial changes. But, as so many people have lamented, for a befuddling number of reasons the book was never published.

Until now.

We are incredibly pleased, proud, and relieved to announce that the third novel in THE CHRONICLES OF GALEN SWORD -- DARK HUNTER -- will at last be published in April, 2000, by Babbage Press, a specialty science fiction/fantasy house based in Los Angeles.

Dark Hunter will appear as part of a special, tenth-anniversary trade paperback omnibus edition titled THE RETURN OF GALEN SWORD. This edition will reprint Books 1 and 2 (slightly updated), as well as the all-new, never-before-published Book 3, plus a full First World Glossary & Guide to Characters and Clans, as well as a special Introduction by us in which we'll recount Galen's whereabouts during what we call 'the Dark Years.' In addition, few Galen fans know that we wrote a Galen Sword short story -- "Bluebound" -- which fits the continuity and appeared in a little-known, 1991 anthology, Chilled to the Bone. As a special bonus, we'll be providing the information required to download that story from the Internet.

THE RETURN OF GALEN SWORD will be available through Amazon.com.

Just as a hint of what's to come, we can tell you that Dark Hunter takes place in the days immediately following the events of Nightfeeder, and brings Galen face to face with the Dark Hunter he encountered years ago in Greece -- the same Dark Hunter whom he encountered in New York with Orion (remember the troll hunt?) -- and who holds the key to the coming confrontation between the First World and our own.

All the members of Galen's team are back, along with several new characters who will play crucial roles in the adventures ahead. (And there WILL be adventures ahead!) For the first time, we'll also learn about Forsyte's 'accident,' discover the truth about Brin (you really believed what he said?), and follow Galen as he finally passes through the layer and takes his search into the First World. (Even 'Bub gets involved when he gets picked up by the unsuspecting NYC Department of Animal Control.)

For those who can't wait, special sneak preview chapters from all three Galen Sword books will be running in all three novels of our new Deep Space Nine trilogy, MILLENNIUM, which will be published by Pocket Books in March and April, 2000. The first chapter of Dark Hunter will appear in Millennium Book III: Inferno.

Despite his long absence, Galen Sword has been our passion since we wrote our first outline for the first novel back in 1988. By the time we completed the manuscript for Book I: Shifter, we had outlined the entire Galen Saga so that very first novel includes all the clues to what will eventually transpire in the Saga's final story -- a story which takes place only after several more Galen novels continue the tale.

We are immensely grateful to each and every one of our readers who have contacted us over the years, letting us know that one of our favorite stories has not been forgotten. Rest assured that we never forgot Galen, either, and we're just as eager for his return -- and continuing adventures.

As our bio at the end of Nightfeeder says: "They know what 'Bub is, they know what happened to Galen's father, they know what's waiting in Australia -- they know EVERYTHING."

We're thrilled we're finally going to be able to share it with you.

Many thanks for all your support and interest during the long interim.

Summary: Great Book but is there going to be a third in the Series?
Review: I agree with all that has gone befor

Summary: Please write the next in the series!!!!!!!!
Review: I agree with the other two reviews entirely. I am also awaiting with bated breath the third (and fourth?) book(s) in the series. The last line of this book is something like: "We have won the battle, now for the war to begin!" (Not an exact quote, but you get the idea!)

So, where is the next book? I hope they write it soon!

Summary: A Page Turner - Guaranteed!
Review: I am very selective about the novels I read. This novel (and the first)grabbed my attention and held it until I had turned the last page. You could feel the strength, energy and emotions of each character. Not many authors have this ability to make an impact on the reader, but Judith Reeves-Stevens and Garfield Reeves-Stevens certainly did with these novels. A comparison to this novel, would be the series (Taltos) written by Steven Brust who blends fantasy and science fiction very well, and again, each character appears mysterious as the characters in the Galen Chronicles. Lastly, to echo the thoughts and muses of others - Here's hoping for the 3rd...

Summary: carlton and adler radiographic imaging
Review: I find this one a "better" overall textbook than Christensen and Bushong. More inspiring, cosier and fairly well written. Downside : I personally found myself wanting some radiation physics tables that I had to find elsewhere ("Medical Imaging Physics"), and think the authors left out many interesting aspects physics wise, but your average student might find this works out just fine. Almost perfect starter.

Summary: Curious beyond belief
Review: I first bought this book in 1992 along with the first Galen Sword book (Shifter). I personally love the book and have read it and reread it numerous times. And, like a few others that have posted, I have lent the book out to others, and all who have read the books have been beside themselves with admiration for what was written and those who wrote it. So, you can see how sad it is when I have to tell them there was no third book written, eventhough there was obviously a third book in the series.
So I ask simply. Is there a third book? If not published, is there a way to get a copy of the third book? Or at the very least, can someone tell me what is in Australia?
By the way, if you could not guess. I very much enjoyed the books, and found the authors unique vision of the supernatural to be completely entrancing.
