Rating: Summary: Losing sleep over this one was worth it! Review: What a great book! I didn't want it to end, and this is the first sci-fi I've read! I'm ready for more wild adventures from this author. This book was just one climax after another, every time I thought there couldn't possibly be another twist or turn in the plot, there was another one waiting around the corner. Seeds of Time is great escape reading, yet totally believable and frightening for that reason. Kenyon makes you stop and think. I love her character development. The heroine, Clio, is wonderfully gutsy, not saccharine or Miss Goody Two Shoes. Kenyon sucks you into her exciting tale with people you find yourself cheering for and turning the pages faster and faster to find out their fate. I spent a couple of nights reading into the early morning hours when I had promised myself I would only read for 15 minutes. I'm hooked on her writing; it's fun, fast, and thought provoking.
Rating: Summary: Interesting Sci Fi angle but raw Review: What I mean by raw is that Clio, the main character, isn't a pretty picture. Strung out on drugs and not the smartest person she is never the less able to get you into her corner as you make your way through this book. If you have problems with time elements, such as the future and the past, etc. then you won't like this book because the author jumps from time period to time period which means Clio is living differently in all of them. I liked it because it kept me on my toes.

Rating: Summary: Good ideas, good heroine and a good story. Review: Why only three stars. Weeellll. At times I found the story was a little drawn out in places and was retelling what I alread knew. But what do you expect in a first novel? Perfection???So, this is a story of an earth that is dying of pollution (hey, that's us!) The population is doing nothing because the government and large corporations have it all under control. But they don't. They just don't want to panic the population. So, can a group of pilots "Dive" back to a fertile planet and bring back plants that can survive polluted earth, or are we going to fizzle out of existence? For the answer to that one you will just have to read the book.
