Rating: Summary: Not worth reading. Review: I have read the other books in this series and this one is the worst. The author wasted way too much time reiterating the fact that these characters have crossed time streams to an alternate reality; yeah, I got it. It's nothing new, but it was restated so much it was painful. It must have been all he could think of because the characters were so shallow and the story was so forced.
Rating: Summary: Terminator 2 Time of Trouble. Review: This book has no real story to it. I figured it would and it disappointed me greatly. Russell Blackford is a good author, but here he slipped. The story goes to Jade's world and we see a Skynet that seems almost unbeatable. But it is defeated by a combined effort on the part of the main characters of the story Jade, the Connor's, Anton etc. I do not recommend this book at all.
Rating: Summary: Better than the movie Review: Times of Trouble is at least as good as the two earlier Blackford books. Just like in the first two, the characters are great (and Jade, the superhuman girl from the future, is very cool), and there's lots of fast action, but it's also very realistic - not like the T3 movie. There's all sorts of time- and space-travel across diferent time-lines, with John and his friends attacking the Skynets, and the Skynets have a heap of mean new tricks. The time-travel stuff is complicated, but interesting, and it's explained well.
