Rating: Summary: Tales of Love Review: This is by far the best of the "Tales". The stories are moving, and wonderfuly written. Everything is included; from the tale of the darken wood to the pain of a painter's dream. These short epics tell of a world torn by war and healed by love.
Rating: Summary: Something to keep you in the world of krynn Review: This is one of thse little gems of literature, from my point of view. Love & War has some fine, little tales concerning the world of the dragonlance chronicles & legends, and it is something quite fitting to read when you go to bed alone.
Rating: Summary: Great Stories Review: This is, to me, the best of the tales series, 1 and 2. The stories take great care into the develpment of the people, the stories seem to generally be about love for one another, how they go great lenghts for their loved ones. The story of, "A Painters Vision" was truly magnificent. The story was so great, and how the two were ultimately joined together (not like at the hips, not like that) was truly a work of pure genius. Raistlin's Daughter was O.K., but I don't see what the big fuss about it is, it was pretty unbelievable, Raistlin didn't at all seem how he acted in all the other books. And, yes, Raistlin's Daughter is a true story, unlike what other people believe. I would definately get this book!
Rating: Summary: Dragonlance short stories are as good as the novels Review: This was the first Dragonlance book with short stories I ever read. I was not dissapointed. The reason I chose this book out of all the others that are availible was, of course, "Raistlin's Daughter". Any one who is a devouted Raistlin fan MUST read that story. It is, by far, the best in the book. If you want to read more about the companians there is also "Hide And Go Seek", which has the original group. "A Painter's Vision" is also good and so is "By The Measure". I recomend this book to anyone. And if you want to find out if the story about Raistlin's daughter is true, read Dragons Of Summer Flame.
Rating: Summary: Pretty good, I guess Review: Well, I would hafta say that this book wasn't the bomb or the worst. The only story I kinda liked was the legend 'bout Raistlin's Daughter, but surely this can't be real...could it?
