Summary: The best book I ever read
Review: This is the best book I ever read! There is an inventive plot, characters to die for, and a storyline that will make you crawl back for more. Extremely inventive, Moran makes you want to be the characters Denice and Trent. The question of the day is though---When will Denice and Trent meet again. The Trillion dollar question is---WHEN WILL THE NEXT BOOK COME OUT????? A must read. I would recommend this to anyone. Everyone ive given it to has loved it almost as much as me. I welcome fans to e-mail me so that we can share the experiences this book has offered.

Summary: Hopefully not the last dancer.
Review: This is the first book by this author I've picked up, and it's been quite a ride. I read it last year, and I'm now reading it again. He hits a lot of chords here, with the UN-occupied USA, French Peace Keeping Force troopers harassing US citizens, and keeping in mind that this was written during the height of the "black helicopter scare" and militia paranoia, it strikes very close to home indeed. But the rich textures woven into this story are amazing. Every character has a soul, and a reason for taking up space in your head and you want them to stick around and tell you more good stories.

Summary: Terrific, but flawed...
Review: This is the third, and best, of Daniel Keyes Moran's series, "Tales of the Continuing Time." I'd call it a wide-open epic novel: gods, almost-immortal assassins, the next American Revolution, and revenge served VERY cold. It's the kind of book that cries out for multiple rereadings, and then passing along to your best friend. I have three criticisms which prevented me from giving it a 10. First, you have to suffer through "Emerald Eyes" (the first of the series), which reads like a book synopsis that got published by mistake. Otherwise this novel won't make much sense. Second, it has a huge, confusing flash-back stuck right in the middle of the action. While the information therein is absolutely crucial, I wish the author could have found a better way to convey it. And finally, the rest of the series is languishing in some publisher's hands while Moran's loyal fans wait... and wait... and wait... If you're easily subject to frustration, you could die of an ulcer (or old age!) before finding out what happens next.

Summary: Surround-Sound for your mind, totally immersing!
Review: Where is Daniel Keys Moran? Who was/is the publisher and how can we contact them? Is he alive or dead? No word since 1993, and there are 29 more installments to go in this excellent series. This is part of my "must keep" segment in my library, but I have become frustrated when recommending the series to others. Bring it back into print!!

Summary: Publisher - We want more. GET A CLUE!!!
Review: Without a doubt, this is one of the best science fiction novels ever written. It is a credit to the genre. Moran made vivid characters come to life, and successfully interwove a variety of themes and stories into one integrated whole. Why, oh why, can't the publishers abandon their money-is-god attitude and at least support a few authors for the sake of good literature? I am anxiously awaiting the next novel in this series, and I hold my nose at the Dungeons and Dragons garbage he's working on now. Yo, Daniel, if you read this, I'm also a writer. I know how difficult a task the book was for you, but it's well worth the effort. To read your reviews is to realize that. Now heed your fans and write another!
