Summary: A Most Imaginative Treasure For Young Minds
Review: AS above, from my personal experience, I have this book at the top of my list. It's a wonderful experience into a whole different world and any child with horses on the brain, or even those without, will love this book! Seriously, it is a treasure, and excellent reading.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Best Horse Book of the Year!!
Review: As soon as you open the book you are capitivated!! She takes you into a world known only to horse lovers!!

Summary: A True Work of Art
Review: Following in the footsteps of such books as Watership Down, The Plague Dogs, Tailchaser's Song, and The Wild Road; this book brings to life the wonderful world of horses. I couldn't put it down. Even now, after several years of reading both this book and Piper at the Gate, I still can't put them down once I start. This book has to be one of my favorite books of all time. Mary Stanton really did a wonderful job. I am still enchanted by these books. They hold mystery and magic; all the glorious things that make a great story. My congradulations to Mary Stanton for writing such a masterpiece.

Summary: Inspiring novel
Review: Heavenly Horse was ten times better then Piper at the Gate, and it inspired a great deal of my writing. I still have my orginal copy, minus its front cover and one or two pages. Even though I've trained horses for most of my life, I still sometimes wonder if horses really do try and walk the path to the moon!

Summary: The heavenly horse from the outermost west
Review: I absolutly loved this book! I hve probably read it twenty times! I first read this book when I was 12 yrs. old and I still can read it 12 yrs. later. This book portrayed horses in a very human like way. I never look at horses the same way! I have read Piper at the gates and loved it. I wish Mary Stanton would do a sequel to Piper at the Gates. These books of mine are well worn, with creases and dog ears and even food smudges, however, a well worn book is a well read book....

Summary: Lets a Dream become a Reality
Review: I came across this book in the library when I was 11 years old. I just had to find me a copy. To this day I look at my horses with a different perspective. The fact Mary Stanton made these horses love, hurt, and the sacrifices they all made to be free, is one touching look at the animal itself. I had always wished there was more to this beautiful animal and her book made my dream become a reality. Even though it is a fantansy, I am hooked on a wonderful book that I have read over 20 times, AND IT NEVER GETS OLD!!!! If you ever thought there were more to the horse, and that there is a higher being for every animal to look up to, this a perfect book for anyone.

Summary: Great!!!
Review: I loved this book!! I liked it better than Piper at the Gate, although that was also a wonderful book. I agree with Jane Yolen- "If you loved Watership Down, but don't like rabbits... this is the fantasy book for you: lovingly detailed, heart-quickening, and full of horses." It's a beautiful love story without getting crude, as authors tend to do these days, and full of insight into the lives of animals. Here's one who not only writes about horses, but actually lives with them and knows what she's talking about!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best books!
Review: I loved this book, the rich characters and plot are just wonderful. One you start reading this book it is hard to put it down. And this is no plain fantasy novel, there is a little truth in there as well!
