Review: I'm a music student, and one of the courses we must take to complete our studies is conducting. This book is a great way to learn the basics, so anyone, and I mean anyone, can lead a symphony orchestra, on TV or on audio recording, in the privacy and comfort of their own home. But be warned: you'll want to conduct the minute you get to a real live concert! It's an absolute shame this book is out of print!

It will also show you in detail how to conduct the various tempi (plural for tempo). It will educate you about the various conductors and their styles.
