Summary: Imaginative, fresh, rich, one of the best new authors
Review: I know of very few authors whose prose is so imaginative. Every single story was a surpise full of original ideas, richly developed characters, moving situations... From alien experiments in a suburban street to a woman trying to come to terms with her memory of a man who killed and died in Vietnam, Fowlers' stories kept me reading and thinking. Highly recommended, regardless of your favourite genre.
