Summary: Good Book
Review: I really enjoyed this book and how it revealed the darker side of humans. It portrays how "absolute power corrupts absolutely." The characters are well developed, revealing the temptations and weaknesses they are prey to and their attempts to overcome it. It reveals their humanity. I recommend this book to be read, and I can't wait until the next book of the trilogy comes out.

Summary: Scorpion Shards
Review: Scorpion Shards is an excellent novel for any astrology loving people! It is a novel about six teenagers each carry a "disease" that is common among typical adolescence, including problems with acne, weight, and fear. It is my favorite novel and I recommend it to anyone who is interested!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An Average Follow-up
Review: The first book in the trilogy, Scorpion Shards, was a much better book than this. Although the story of The Bringer is well thought out, the oringal book held more feeling and character development. This reads more like an addition on to the first book, a psuedo-sequel of sorts, rather than a true sequel.

Summary: Excellent follow-up to "Scorpion Shards"
Review: The second book in the Star Shards trilogy, Neal Shusterman takes the five remaining characters from the first novel, Scorpion Shards, into deeper, darker areas of their own minds. Whereas in the last book the Star Shards dealt with the parasitic "titans" that leached onto their sould, this time around the teens have to deal with their rapidly growing egos, fed by The Bringer's suggestions.

In addition to the five familiar faces, three new characters were added this time around: Drew, an all-around nice guy friend of Michael's who feels he has a shameful secret; Radio Joe, an elderly Native American man out to stop the creature eating the souls of unwary victims; and the Bringer, the thief of souls mentioned in the title.

Everyone feels the effects this time around as the Star Shards begin to achieve god-like status in the face of the minions. Much darker and more mature than the book before it, Thief of Souls brings together believable characters, wonderfully descriptive scenes, and an exciting conclusion that leaves me craving for more. An excellent book.

Summary: The Reciew
Review: Theif of Souls is one of the best books I have ever read. The beginning of the book throws a whole new twist on the theory of Greek Mythology when we are first introduced to the Bringer. I read this book in less than two weeks, normally it would take me three or four months to read a book this size. The book truly is an amazing story and I would definitely recommend it to anybody, because this book would be interesting to just about anybody.

Summary: Amazing, but not as great as Scorpion Shards
Review: Thief of Souls is a great book. I liked it a lot. It has very interesting twist and turns to it. It is great read till the end. Two major characters die, if you have read Scorpion Shards, they were two of the impact characters. It's a great book, I recommend buying it.

Summary: A fantastic sequel to a fantastic book
Review: This second book in the Star Shards trilogy, possibly even better than the first, continues the adventures of the five living shards (one died at the end of the first book) and adds great new characters to the mix. After returning home after the events of the first book, the shards find their lives very different, but they don't stay home long. The shrards must gather again to fight a new enemy, while at the same time they are moving farther apart. This book is highly captivating in a can't-stop-now-must-read-more sort of way. I highly recommend it and eagerly await the next book.

Summary: The BEST!
Review: Thsi book was simply amzing. The sequel to Scorpion Shards, this book was much more mature, darker, and all around better. You can easily lose youself in the adventures of the 5 remaining heroes. Also, there are a lot more supporting characters, who add to the excitement. I can't wait for Book Three!
