Rating: Summary: Satisfying end of the Star of the Guardian series Review: Although Ghost Legion is not as spellbinding as the first three novels in het Star of the Guardian sage, it is indeed a satisfying end. The young king Dion is bothered by two troubles: he is madly in love with Maigrey Kamil but caught up in an unloving marriage due to his formed alliance with warlord DiLuna and on the other hand his nephew Flaim claims the trone with help from his so-called ghostlegion. There is another ghost around too...often around a dark and unforgiven brother. I am Margaret Weis very thankfull for writing this novel, the ending of King's sacrifice was just so unfair it made me cry! And I never ever have cried while reading a book... Well, my soul is at rest now too, that is: untill I start to read the whole serie again (which I have done now for six times or so). Thank you Margaret Weis!

Rating: Summary: Really great book. Review: Great book, one of the few very realistic and human sci-fi/galactic fantasy books. Deals a lot with humans and their emotions rather than the usual sci-fi shoot before you think novel.
Rating: Summary: Hmmm... Review: Hmmm...I don't think much of this. In my opinion, book III wrapped things up quite nicely; this seems more like an afterthought than anything else. It wasn't Weis's greatest work ever, but it was pretty good. This last book seems highly unnecessary to me. And I really thought that bringing back Derek Sagan was not a good idea; the way he ended up after book III was quite appropriate. Death is just so predictable and boring an end for him. You can safely stay away from this.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic ! Review: I really enjoyed this book. Humor, tragedy, and the return of Derek Sagan and Lady Maigrey... It closes the serie very well !
Rating: Summary: good Review: I that this book was a good book with a lot of turns and twist that any one will enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Totally Unnecessary, but interesting Review: I was surprised to find another book in the Star of the Guardians series, since King's Sacrifice seemed to wrap things up so well. I agree that this book isn't up to the standard of the previous 3, but I admit that I enjoyed the story a great deal, with the exception of Maigrey's struggles with "radiant beings." Dion's wife is certainly not what I expected, and brings a good twist to Dion's life. The ending is weak, and I especially loathed the Epilogue, which nearly ruined the whole series for me. If you read this book, do yourself a favor and stop reading at the end of chapter twelve.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful wrap-up to a first-rate saga! Review: Margaret Weis has proven herself to be a master of the fantasy genre with this thrilling conclusion of The Star of The Guardians series! Must Reading!!
Rating: Summary: The best series I have ever read! Review: Margaret Weiss' best work was done in this series. Never before have I ever felt any kind of emotion or related to the characters in a novel as I did with the Star of the Gaurdians series. The emotional ups and downs and the care given to bring out the personalities of the characters actually make you feel as though you are there. This series blows Star Wars away.
