Summary: Fascinating subject, rather amateurish writing
Review: This series is an anthology of Revelation. The style is predictable, sometimes boring, but the subject offsets much of that. Written from the standpoint of a fundamentlist view, subtly anti-Catholic. If you don't take it too seriously, or literally, it is fun and keeps your interest.

Summary: AMEN
Review: THese books are great, especially this one!! I just finished reading it and I found that I couldn't put it down. Even my homework suffered for it, oh well!!!! I can't wait until the next one, and neither can the rest of my family!! THey've touched our lives and gotten us thinking. I used to be afraid of the end times, but now I am looking forward to the Rapture!! Praise God, come quickly Lord.!!

Summary: NOT BAD.
Review: The Assassins wasn't bad, but it could have been stronger on the action and details..... (A big thank you to the reviewer from Arz. for recommending THE FIST OF GOD by A.T. Nicholas. It was incredible and spellbinding.) The language is strong, but the message was really great! Thanks again, I've told ten people about it and they all loved it.

Summary: Fan feels ripped off.
Review: Like millions, I'm hooked on the story and characters. As an author, I applaud the great storytelling. As a Christian, I appreciate the entertaining way the message comes across, that the Bible is truth and we're foolish to ignore our spiritual lives. This book was another great read, but at the end I felt as if I'd just watched the season finale of a soap opera - - Dallas - "Who shot JR?" The author's employed a slick Hollywood trick, and I did not appreciate it, especially when the next book won't be out until next Spring. The characters; Rayford, Buck, Chloe, Hattie, etc., are engaging enough for me to want to read all the books to follow their adventures. I don't need a cliffhanger to get me to buy the next book. I'm sure I'm not the only one, and I hope LaHaye and Jenkins take note.

Summary: Top Notch, fast paced, a great witness tool.
Review: I loved this sixth installment of the Left Behind Series. The author captured the endtimes as well as any author I have read. Although I don't agree 100% with every aspect of the author's prophetic interpretation, this book lays a solid foundation for biblical discussion, and can be used as a very effective witness tool. This book is making the rounds at work, and has opened the door for serious prophetic discussions. I look forward to the spring of 2000 (God willing) and the next installment in the series

Summary: EXCELLENT!
Review: I have read all of the books in the series, and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time!!! I've read hundreds of books, and this series is simply #1 on my list. Not only has it made me more serious about my walk with God, but also to share the Good News with others. I have one question? Who killed Nicolae? Hattie or Rayford or maybe even someone else?!?!? I cannot believe that I have to wait 6 long months to enjoy the next sequel.

Summary: A quick read - maybe too quick
Review: Like many other "reviewers" I have greatly enjoyed the "Left Behind" series. I was hooked by the end of the first book and "devoured" the rest of the series with great interest. However, I feel that the best book in this series, even after reading "Assasians", was "Left Behind". This first book was such an insight into what we as Christians need to do to accept Jesus as our Savior and not be left behind. This book is not a replacement for reading the Bible, but I found myself re-reading the pages where Bruce talked to Ray many times over. Also his guidance to the Trib force was so compelling - it hit me with such truth that I feel changed by the insight. I realize the book is fiction, but I think what hooks readers to this series is the factual references to the Book of Revelation and also how the authors so keenly wrap us up in the characters' feelings and their thoughts during the worst time of their lives. I read this last book in 2 days but didn't feel that I had much to discuss with fellow readers as I did with the other books. I think Chaim did the killing but that's about all I had to share. I am anxiously waiting for the next book, but I wish one more would do it. For me, this book was an outlet to discuss my faith with others that I did not feel comfortable talking about before. For that, I am very grateful to the authors. Thank you for a fine series, and I pray that the last books will leave your fans with an uplifting feeling instead of the crushing sadness and anxiousness that this last book gave me. You have a fan for life. Bless you, Mr. LeHaye and Mr. Jenkins.

Summary: A different perspective on the future
Review: Different is the way I would describe this series. The authors take a slant that isn't often examined. Religion and science fiction make a strange mix. For another different slant try Robert Doherty's AREA 51 books. Or Alien Rapture.

Summary: Lose the padding!
Review: Like a few other posts, I agree that Jenkins and LaHaye sacrificed content for cash cow in this sixth installment of an otherwise exciting series. It takes four hundred pages to tell this segment of the tale whereas the actual plot events can be summarized in about two hundred words! Please, Jerry, Tim and Tyndale - either slow down the production line or just shorten it - if your story is only 100,000 more words long, don't use 500,000 words to tell it!

Summary: Leaves You Wanting More!
Review: I thought it was a good read, but could have been written with more action. It felt like a part of a novel and not the better part. LaHaye and Jenkins need to have more conclusions and less lose ends. Over all a good read. ***** While I was waiting for ASSASSINS to come out, I ordered a novel called, THE FIST OF GOD by A.T. Nicholas. It's a phenomenal spiritual thriller! A great read! I would recommend to anyone who wants something good to read while waiting for the next one in the Left Behind series. (There is strong language in THE FIST OF GOD)
