Summary: It was hard too put down once I started.
Review: I read the whole "Left Behind" series in what amounts to a weeks time. I got started and could not stop. I found myself on the last book-to-date, "Assassins", and was just as absorbed as the prvious five titles. The characters, the action and the insight draws you in and the next thing you know you have read the entire book before you know it. The only dissappointment I have is that I have to wait till the next book comes out. I hear there will be six more books still to come, two a year. That is great, but that is a long to wait for the next book.

Great work. Keep them coming.

Summary: A fast great read!
Review: Assasins, the newest book in the Left Behind series keeps the suspence of it's predacessors right on track. I am a born again christian and my interest in Biblical prophecy is what got me interested in this series. But these books are so well written and take such interest in the development of plot & characters, that I find it hard to believe that a person of any differing faith would not enjoy reading them as well. Even if they just presumed it to be a science fiction series of novels. Jenkins knows how to unfold a story and keep the readers involed in it on so many levels. This book is so relevant to the headlines I read in the newspapers each day and once you decide to read it I think you will start to see the things happening around you in a different light. I would reccomend starting with the first book in the series, so that you can have a focus on the entire story. This series is a must read for any fan of action & adventure & mystery novels no matter what your faith!

Summary: An eye-opening series!
Review: I was on vacation with my family when I started this series. My mom talked me into reading "Left Behind" and I found that once I got into the book, I couldn't put it down! I've gone to church since I was a little girl- but I began to rebel from religion once I hit 15. I've always had an interest in the book of Revelation though--these novels brought that to life and awakened something in me that has been dead for years. When a book can move a person that much, you know it's got to be at least worth reading. These novels are more than that--they are true works of art. I just want to say thanks' to the author for writing this series, you brought me back to life!!!

Summary: An absolute must read!
Review: Though the basic plot was written long ago, these authors managed to interject much creativity by developing life-like senerios. The characters are very well developed and interesting to learn about. The ending presents an exciting cliff-hanger that leaves the reader with a yearning to start on book #7 -- the tribulation undercover.

Summary: Great book, and I can't wait for the next book!
Review: This book is an attention getter. It's easy to empathize with the characters; I don't want to be Left Behind. I'm anxiously waiting to see what happens in the next book. I love the scriptural explanations and how they are woven into the fabric of the story. The characters are are believable, and they pull you into the action.

Summary: Assassins is intriguing and emotionally captivating!!!
Review: The Assassins book is one of the best in this series of Left Behind. Through the authors writing ability the reader is drawn into the various emotions of the characters, whether it be frustration, sorrow or joy. I will be anxiously awaiting Book #7 and hope that it will be out before March of 2000.

Summary: Excellent
Review: Even though the cliffhanger was a little contrived, this one was excellent. All the books in the series have been challenging and faith building. By the way, don't listen to the people who keep posting reviews on this board for The Last Day; this is a secular novel with lots of non-Christian material. Stick with Left Behind!

Summary: Evilness revealed
Review: In this last but not final book of this series it is horrifying to see such evilness yet among the people as they live out what is prophisied about. Everything comes to life as you read this book and what happens as they come to the first half of the 7 year Tribulation period. It is hard to fathom that any one person could be that evil and vicious let alone those who still haven't accepted Christ, and to feel the pain of the Christians who know what is going to happen and actually sees the prophesies fulfilled. The ending of this book only makes me more anxious for the next one to come out.

Summary: I finished this book in 3 days!
Review: Assassins was an excellent book. It kept me on my toes and always wondering what would happen next. You feel like the characters and events are real instead of just a story. The Left behind series is a must read series. I finished Assassins in three days and I really wish the next book were going to be out tomorrow. Every book leaves you wanting to know more. Not to mention it makes you think.
