Summary: Real Life Situations
Review: I have liked the whole series of books. After Sept. 11 I can really see that people like Nicolae could really exist. There are bad people in the world ... who would kill at the drop of a hat. All of our lives should be prepared to die at any minute. These books have really got me re-evaluating my walk with Christ. This book was the best one of the series. One thing I have really liked in this book is how the good guys actually felt anger and wanted to hurt and kill people. It made the series more realistic.

Review: I agree with a number of other reviewers that this series has stretched on way past where it should have stopped. The original Left Behind novel started off well, but it seems the length of the series was stretched by publishers who wanted to make as much money as possible off of the series. I see no reason why "The Indwelling" and "Assassins" couldn't have been merged into a single book. A lot of what the authors put forward was rehashed in previous books, like a television soap opera with Monday and Friday shows that mirror each other. Those still interested in reading well written, realistic scenarios of the apocalypse should read The Christ Clone Trilogy and Conquest of Paradise instead. Both those books were a lot more believable, and they didn't need twelve books to tell a good story!

Review: I think that assassins was one of the best books I've ever read. I dont read much, but I can say that I really did enjoy this book.
The book starts out a little slow, but then it just bursts into flames, and I could'nt put it down. It was constantly action packed. I would recommend this book to anyone who can read.... I LOVED IT!!!!
The only part I didnt like about the book is that Mrs. Brownwood is making me write this, while the simpsons are on... But overall it was okay.

Review: The halfway point of the peace treaty between Carpathia and Jerusalem is nearing, and all hell is about to break loose. Literally.As the book opens, we find that it's all Rayford Steele can do to keep his rage, no...make that murderous rage, inside him. He wants to be the one to kill Nicolae Carpathia no matter what the cost. And he's willing to do just about anything to make sure that happens. Nicolae Carpathia, on the other hand, is preparing a global gala in Jerusalem. Not because he really wants to have a party. His main purpose is to kill the two witnesses at the wailing wall. He has pinpointed the exact time they will become vulnerable and wants the credit of doing them in. In front of a worldwide audience, no less. However, Carpathia appears to be ignorant of the fact that his own time is near as well. He will not make it out of this global gala alive. The question is, who will be the one to kill him? Rayford Steele, who has purchased a new gun just for that reason? Hattie Durham, who blames Carpathia for all the horrible things she did during their time together (not to mention the fact that he killed their unborn baby and tried to kill her). Mac McCullum, who fantasizes about flying the Pheonix 216 into a mountainside with Carpathia in it? Dr. Chaim Rosenzweig, who seems to work night and day in his workshop on a project that he won't reveal to his own housestaff? You get the idea. "Assassins," the 6th book in the popular "Left Behind" series is, without question, the most suspensful book in the series so far. Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins use the entire book to set up the explosive finale. The suspense is so thick by the time Carpathia gets his just reward that you could cut it with a knife. But it doesn't stop there. A cliffhanger ending will make you want to throw the book out the window in complete frustration. Assuming you forgive the authors for that dirty little trick, you will immediately want to start in on the next book. After all, you just have to know what happens next.

Review: The sixth book in the series starts three years and two months into the tribulation. Helpfully, the book starts with a rundown of the major characters, who they are, where their loyalties lie, etc. Along with the terrifying horesmen of Revelation, the story covers an explosive assasination attempt at the Johannesburg airport, and the loss and addition of old and new tribulation force members. We FINALLY see the death of Carpathia in this book, and the cliffhanger ending leaves the reader wanting to start the next book immediately.

Review: The series was based on an intriguing topic, but the author took so disgustingly long to say anything the only thing left in the series was suspense, and the only suspense was: WHEN IS ANYTHING EVER GOING TO HAPPEN??

Summary: ANOTHER GREAT BOOK IN THE SERIES
Review: This is a series of books that is rare, one of those books that are great to read and have all good stuff in it. No senseless violence,no sex, and no curse words at all. All the books leading up to #6 build the intensity of this book. Rayford is one of those characters you feel really sorry for and feel the anger and pain in him. At times in the book you actually may feel compelled to his darker side, the side that wants to spill the AntiChrist's blood. Also, the appearance of the 200 millon demonic horseman in the book add some zest to the book. The ending is the best: Who is the killer of Nicolai Carpathia and now that he is dead is the Tribulation Force and the world in for perhaps the worst part of the Tribulation period? All in all a great book like the rest of the series and I think it is a book for the times we live in: it gives us something to look to and pray to.

Review: "Assassins" sixth in the LEFT BEHIND series continues with Revelation's prophecy. As Rayford Steel and newest member of the Tribulation force search for her property they are attacked by G C forces. Only the sudden appearence of the 200 million demonic horseman save them from capture and sure death. The demonic horseman, visable only to believers, destroy one third of the remaining unbelievers leading to the predicted death of The Wailing Wall Witnesses. Riveting drama, authentic dialogue and captivating action will keep readers engrossed from beginning to the end and the cliffhanger ending will have them out buying the next in the series.
