Rating: Summary: Eh, not really fond of this one... Review: Much like the other book in this series, this was a headache to get through. While the story was much more entertaining this time 'round, the storytelling stlye hasn't changed. I'd recommend this as a Library read unless you are fond of the writing style, or just so cat-addicted you don't care. ^_~

Rating: Summary: Four paws up! Review: The best sequel I ever read! It's official now: The Wild Road and The Golden Cat are my two most favorite books! Even as I started reading The Golden Cat, I knew I loved it from the first page. I smiled every time as I encountered the good old characters: Tag, Sealink, Cy, the Royal Family, and all the rest. If you read The Wild Road and liked it, then you should definitely read this one as well. Once again, Mr. King points out the suffering the lab animals must go through. And once again I was not able to put the book down. Such a sweet tale, such an interesting plot, such unique characters... And lots more. I just wish there would be ANOTHER sequel! A purrrfect book for any cat lover! Exciting and interesting, a brave adventure that will have you laughing and crying. No true cat lover will be able to resist its charms! Purrrs! =^-.-^=
Rating: Summary: Great book and a worthy sequel! Review: The Golden Cat is every bit as good as its predecessor, The Wild Road. It's a creative masterpiece written in "Lord of the Rings" style. You will find yourself liking some or all of the characters as you go along-they seem almost real. One lil' warning-this book can get a bit violent at times, so it's not for young kids.
Rating: Summary: King Scores Again! Review: This sequal to one of the best fantasy books ever is really great! I would recommend it to anyone who loves cats and a good book! It was great to see all the old favorite characters like Tag, Cy, Pertelot ect. And I was especially glad at the reunion of my two favorite cats...Mousebreath & Sealink!
