Summary: ?
Review: I have no idea why no one liked this book. Good plot, good characters, altough the pace is slow at times.

Summary: The bottom of the barrel ...
Review: Fellow fans, I've read all but one of the Star Wars novels released to date and this has got to be the absolute worst. Vonda McIntyre is another mid-pack Star Trek author who can't begin to capture the 'feel' of Star Wars and has no business writing a book set in this universe. Her plot doesn't come close to fitting in with this series and the characters (the few she bothers to include) are barely recognizable as portrayed.

Consider yourself warned. I can honestly say this book has no redeeming qualities. Not a single one.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Very boring, and definitely different.
Review: This book is a different pace from most Star Wars books. It's not nearly as good as every other books, and there were definitely parts where I just wanted to put it down and start the Black Fleet Crisis. Are you going to take my advice? Probably not, but it's alright. In fact, I encourage you to read it if you truly do like Star Wars, just don't be expecting a great book to come out of it. This book moves as slow as a hutt on a hot day, and has some very lame characters such as Waru (By the way, what the hell is he?) It also makes Luke out to be a very weak and jerky character, and I didn't like that at all. All in all, a definate thumbs down with a couple of exceptions.

Summary: Worst Star Wars novel EVER!
Review: Out of the more than 40 published Star Wars novels, this is by far the worst.

It is more or less suited for kids, and not for adults with a keen interest for the Star Wars galaxy.

I pride my self with having read every Star Wars novel that has been published so far, but many times I was tempted to put this one down and ban it from my Star Wars novel collection.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Too far from standard, too far from good.
Review: Okay, so, all the reviews for this book vary. Some say that it was just marvelous, some say that Jabba-The-Hutt's slime-coat was more attention grabbing, and still other still say it was as wrong as a mirror that doesn't give you a reflection. In reality, the plot itself was great. The details, however, made this baby crash and burn. Luke, Han, and Leia were to far astray from their normal behavioral patterns, to different, that they ended up acting like a whole new group of characters in this well known universe. Luke acting suicidal and paranoid, Han acting like Luke's father, and being overy-compulsive (he was a smugler, not a gambler.) And Leia, rushing off to do things, getting confused about who she was, all made this book a tough one to read. and, upon reaching the finale, one would most likely say that, although, what happened was cool, what led up to it was to wrong. It didn't have the power to save itself. The Author knows how to write, but doesn't know how to write Star Wars Characters. All in all, This book, due to it's less that good overall entertainment abilities left alot to be desidered, and therefore fets onlt two stars fom me.

Summary: Parts of it were a good idea, I guess...
Review: You have to admit, it was fun watching Jacen and Jaina and Anikan. The fun, stops there. Hethir went to all that trouble to kidnap the kids but, accept for Aniken, he forgets about them. What's up with that?! An how can anything, even if from a different dimension, eat up the force? It's a good book, just not a good Star Wars book.

Summary: It was tight!
Review: I have no idea why no one liked this Star Wars book. It was hecka cool! My favorite part is when all the slave children escape from Hethir and find Lea. This is a must- read Star Wars book!

Summary: I'm a die hard starwars fan but I HATED this book
Review: Reading this book is a WASTE of time. they managed to write a novel that didn't make any sense. and turned luke into some evil tyrant bent on destruction. it didn't fit with the whole star wars picture either. I don't get how they messed this book up so bad that I didn't like it. but they did. save your time save your money and read something by Zahn or Anderson

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An Excellent Book!
Review: Why don't people like this book? It is wonderful! It's allot of fun to read. I borrowed this book from a friend and I couldn't put it down. In just one week I had read it twice. After that I just had to buy it.

There were a few places that I didn't understand. Like why did it seem like Luke suddenly hated Han? I don't get it!

Other than that part though it was a great book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: I would have given it a 0.
Review: This has got to be the worst Star Wars book ever.I swear it was a chore reading it.The characters acted nothing like the ones we have come to love(i.e.Luke manipulating his image in Han's mind),they felt like total strangers! The description sounded good, the book could've been good, alas it sucked.Keep away from this book.It will feel like you are doing a chore reading it;save your time and go read a Zahn or Anderson novel.
