Summary: McIntyre should never write another SW book
Review: To put it simply, this woman should never be allowed to write another Star Wars novel. First of all, what was Hethrir going to do with a whole load of kids? Did it ever occur to him to contact Admiral Pellaeon, so the full might of the Imperial armed forces could be brought into the fold? Seems this common sense idea never occured to McIntyre for her to incorporate into her story. Of course, Pellaeon would have quickly asserted the military's dominance over Hethrir's sceme and if the former Procurator of Justice didn't like that, the admiral would have ysalamiri once again placed on the Chimaera, and then Hethrir could have been either made to see reason or he could have been killed.

I wish Leia and Han had never had kids, or if they did, that the commando team lead by Major Himron could have killed both of them. We would have been spared much childish nonsense.

Summary: Luke needs to do more with the Force than the kids.
Review: This was a pretty good book but it would have been a lot better if look would have used the force a lot more than his six year old niece and nephew.

Summary: Mc Intyre Thrills A STAR WARS Fan With Suspense
Review: Princess Leia's children have been kidnapped by a huge threat to the new republic. While all this is going on, Luke, Han and Chewie have discovered a new form of life and it is ready to destroy the galaxy. Luke has lost his force power because of the death of a nearby star, so he cannot contact Leia. The suspense keeps you going and it turns out hard to put down. I highly recommend this book for any StarWars fan!

Summary: Great!!!
Review: Hey, this book is great.I like the storyline. The only thing i can't understand is the end part where Luke, Leia and Han are caught in Waru's body. i couldn't understand how they could end up there. It's pretty weird. But i still like it. i suppose some people don't like it 'cause they don't understand it fully.

Summary: At Best, It's Mediocre. . . But Hey, It's STAR WARS!
Review: My review is above. In this space are some questions I have for Vonda N. McIntyre. One: why is this book more like Star TREK than Star WARS? Two: exactly what was the extent of that power that Hethrir hoped to tap into through Waru? Was it just a little bit more Force energy? Or was it a portal directly into the Force, through which he could take control of it? Or was it some intangible power beyond even the Force? Three: are Firrerrians (I hope I spelled that right) human, or just humanoid? I hope you can somehow respond by commenting on your book through the Internet. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING, MS. McINTYRE.

Summary: What a book!!!
Review: I really like how this book goes straight to theproblem-Anakin, Jania, and Jacen are missing!! You don't have to read5 boring chapters before you learn the kids are gone. The first page goes right into it!! With lots of nail biting suspense and action this is one of the best Star Wars books!!!!

Summary: This is not Star Wars.
Review: This book is not good for anyone I know of. The author did not have a very good plot, there was not one page with action, it did not capture the Star Wars spirit or remind me of the movies in any way, the bad guys were pathetic, and the author did not capture the character's personalities. Leia is trying to find her kids,"Oh, the children, the children." She then attempts to find them on her own when she has a duty as Chief of State and she did not try to use New Republic Intelligence to help her out. She feels so sad when the Leia I know of would have been angry. Han Solo gets drunk, acts like an idiot, swears a little too much, a then sleeps with another women other than his wife, Leia. That does not remind me of Han. Luke loses his powers and then acts like a sleepy idiot, another person who put an opinion on this book said that Luke would act like this if he did not have the force. I respect the opinion, but that reader must have not read Heir to the Empire. In that book Luke loses his ability to use his powers but his personality does not change. Threepio is quiet! now that is hard to believe! Threepio does not annoy Han once in this book or does something that I would think Threepio would do besides getting shot! Chewbacca is like injured most of the time. He got injured in the explosion that was how the kids got kidnapped, but the author did not explain how, Leia is Force sensitive, the bad guy is force sensitive, Leia should have felt the bad guy when he took the kids, did she? No!!!! Another point, how is the Blob supposed to give the bad guy more power in the force if he gets a force individual to the blob? I do not get it. Let me just end with this small story from Episode 1. "My Lord, the Star Wars books are doing great but this one is pathetic, what shall we do?" Nute Gunray asked the hologram of Darth Sidious. " That book is worse than I thought" he repied. " I have your permission to proceed my lord?" Nute asked. Darth Sidious smiled " Proceed. Wipe all copies of the book out, all of them."

Summary: Do I feel a YAWN coming on??
Review: The book itself was OK, but some of it was SO slow! The parts with the kids were good (however slow) and insightful, but other developments were TOO slow. Still a must-read for all you live-or-die Star Warriors.

Summary: Amazing..
Review: I am amazed that people are rating this book one-two stars, but my personal opinion is that this book is great ! The only parts I didn't like was the parts with the Jedi Children, but other than that, It was cool.

Opinion on this book is extremely divided.. so it's up to you...

Summary: Bad
Review: Very slow and very dull. I am telling the truth when I say this book made me fall asleep flat on my face. If I had to describe it in one word: stupid
