Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Wonderful Tale Review: When I first bought this I did so for the title and the cover, not knowing what sort of story it might be. I expected a fairytale filled with magic, but I worried that I might find it silly or poorly done as some romantic fairytales I've read. It sat on my shelf for a year, consequently. Only recently did I open it to read. And when I did so, I was amazed. The story is wonderfully written and more than that. It captured just the type of world I love to read about, a world where myth and magic come to meet our human world. On this world of ancient times you may walk quite easily from the mortal world to the realms of Faery. And so believably was it written that Faery felt as though it could really exist. The Characters of the book are so wonderful. Camille, the heroine of this tale, soon felt like a trusted friend. And when disaster stroke and her dear prince was carried away, I felt it my duty not to let her suffer too long. So, from there on I read furiously and finished the book in about a day and a half. The tale is enthralling. The characters and world they exist in are unbelievably realistic and well developed. I have found another good author and this book will sit on the top shelf of my bookcase with the rest of my favorite books. I would advise against children reading it for there are a few sexual references, however I would suggest this book to any one of a proper age who seeks a wonderful tale of love, romance, magic and adventure.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: wonderful Review: Words cannot begin to describe this beautiful tale. Simply enchanting. McKiernan's story is a classic fairy tale. I'd recommend this book to anyone.
