Summary: Sweet book!
Review: I liked this one alot! Somewhat slow in the beginning as it filled in the story, but overall I loved it.

Summary: Lackey dose it again, great story
Review: I have been reading Mercedes Lackey's work for about five years, and except for magic's pawn, promise and price this is the best book so far in the series. In this book she adds new chariters and has them interact with fan favorates like Kero and Firesong. I realy enjoyed this read so much that I am shure I will be reading it again a year or two from now.

Summary: I liked it, but...
Review: this was a great book, but... well, it wasn't even close to what Lackey and Dixon can do... (for the un-knowledgeable, i refer to the Last Herald Mage and the Gryphons...) this was a grand book, nevertheless, and i think that it is worth reading. enjoy! :)

Summary: not too much altogether...
Review: Although I have always loved Lackey books, I must say this book is a little dull. Unlike her other works, this series doesn't have a true villian to spice things up a bit. And the ending.... it was too perfect, too unrealistic to be good. I personally find it stupid. Lately, Lackey seems to have lost her touch with her books.

Summary: YAWN!
Review: Now, don't get me wrong, I love most of her books but this one was just so TEDIOUS! Nothing happens! Most of the storyline could have been condensed down to a few chapters, instead alot of emptiness has been made to fit a several hundred page novel. I certainly hope the final book in the series has a little more plot and action going on. Very disappointing.

Summary: Where's the Magic?
Review: I am in the process of reading Flight... and I think that Misty is out of touch with some real character development. Everything always turns up roses in this novel, and it's a bit boring. What happened to the suspense and chances of death in the Arrows Trillogy? These characters are a bit cookie-cutter for me, but I love the gryphons who always are fresh, so I will read on. zhai'helluva!

Summary: Fun but fluffy fantasy.
Review: I read this one sitting on the floor of the bookstore. Honest. I thought that is was about as good as many of Ms. Lackey's other Valdemar books, and not as good as her Urban Fantasy stuff. But really, it was fun. Not deeply thought-provoking, not soemthing I'm going to stay up late pondering, but a fun read. Also, many of her books are actually written with Larry Dixon, whether or not the by-line says so. Just as a side note.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: not as good as the first book in the series
Review: owlsight is a continuation of the story of Darien who is now eighteen years old. Misty has done an awsome job as usual, and I can hardly wait for the last book in the trilogy;Owlknight, to come out.

Summary: Mercedes Lackey is incredible!
Review: How can I even begin to tell you how fabulous this author is. I'm compelled to write because her books have meant so much to me and have been such a big part of my life. She invites you into a world that is impossible to leave without feeling the presence of your "new friends" come with you. I absolutely LOVE all her books. This particular one was wonderfully rich in details of both an herbalists life as well as life in the new hawk brothers vale. I can't recommend it highly enough!!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Outstanding
Review: Many books don't take the time to properly introduce you to the characters...Ms. Lackey does a WONDERFUL job. You feel as if you have know the people forever and not just from a book!!! Please keep up the GREAT work!! I loved this book and I am on the edge of my seat for the next one.
