Review: When C. J. Cherryh writes fantasy, she makes the reader yearn for the places she describes. That's what I liked most about this book. The descriptions and the plot were beautiful and evocative; celtic lore at its best. Her writing is sometimes difficult to follow, and the plot is a little vague at times. Despite these things (which are common all of Cherryh's books that I've had the good fortune to read), I highly recommend this book. It's well-worth the effort.
