Rating: Summary: really good Review: This book really show's what it takes be a rouge. Not only do you have to be one of the best fighter pilots in the galaxy you also have to be a cunning warrior as Corran Horn showed during his escape from the super star destroyer Luanske. Wedge also showed that he really has what it takes to be a leader. Also the fact Corran was the son of a Jedi was really neat.
Rating: Summary: Very good Review: This may not be the best of the series, but it sure is good. They spend to much time on Tycho's case, but the suspense of that is pretty good. I don't see how the cover relates to the book, but it doesn't really matter. Luke has a little cameo at the end with Corran that is pretty cool. If you really like Corran Horn, this is the book to read. Most of the book takes place inside the Lusankya where Corran's being held captive.
Rating: Summary: Exiting to no extent. Rating: Summary: Enough with the Jedi! Review: I am getting sick and tired of authors suddenly transforming apparently normal characters into Jedi, or Jedi canidates. It really gets boring when something like that happens, it is starting to get really predictible. If a Star Wars author could come up with a story that dosen't involve the Force, it would be more intresting. Otherwise than that, this book and the rest of the series was quite good.
Rating: Summary: Stackpole does it again! A great story about the Rouges! Review: This book was one of the best efforts by Stackpole yet! I like this book so much because the author has depth, he actually makes you feel like your fighting alongside these famous heroes. Corran's trouble in Lusankya was superbly done! I didn't even mind the trial coverage so much because of the swiftly moving plot. The ending left me wanting MORE! Overall, this book was a great effort, and I hope Stackpole continues his fine portrayals of everyone's favorite fighter squadron.
Rating: Summary: If you read this book you were totally shocked at the end Review: What a great book. Stackpole is definetly one of my favorite authors. This book didn't have so much to do with the piloting (which I tend to favour) but Stackpole did a great job taking us through the amazying escape of Corran Horn. His pains and struggles, and oh! What an ending!!!
Rating: Summary: Great book.......JUST A DARN TRIAL!!!!!!!! ARGGGG!!! Review: It was a great book.....awsome battles in space AND ground, great when Corran is on the SSD, great elsewear, but there was just one mistake by Stackpole:HE MADE THE DARN TRIAL OVER TYCHO SO BORING!!!!! But, very good.
Rating: Summary: An unpredictable ending !!! Review: The Krytos Trap was a good book however that trial was well... annoying. Other than that the book is facinating. It has an excellent ending very surprising, Luke also ha a cameo appeareanc. Some key things also happen to Corran that will help when reading I, Jedi.stackpole really did a good job with this book
Rating: Summary: A great suspenseful book, hard to stop reading this book. Review: I thought that this is one of the best books I have read in a long time. It tops the other books by far. I loved the ending. I thought everyone in the book was a spy. It just keep you on your toes the hole time!
Rating: Summary: so-so Review: this is an ok star wars book but i just don't like the way the charecters talk. a little overuse of "indeed" , "perhaps" and "agreed". lines seem a bit rehearsed , with everyone making dull but sophisticated sounding "jokes". the trial part is bull**** though. Corran Horn is making too big a deal out of his dad's death , EVERYONE losses his parents eventually , GET OVER IT. I also dont like the female charecters in this book , they are too naive and friendly. and the Rogues lead kind of a charmed life. stackpole also makes the same mistake every star wars author except Wolverton hads made : they treat the star wars galaxy as if it were our world. this is a galaxy people , with a million worlds. an Imperial officer who did serve at Endor is stranger than NOT serving there.stackpole makes it sond that the Empire has a few ships and officers. The Imperial fleet at Endor wasnt THE Imperial fleet ,it was just part of it. In short , I d! ! idnt like this book. (oh , and my apartment is more secure than Lusankya)
