Summary: Don't Be Fooled....
Review: When Quantum Leap ended, I felt cheated cause I feel they ripped up off by not leaping Sam home in lue of having an open to contnue to movies and ? . When I saw MIRROR's EDGE, I thought finally...someone else was not happy and decided to "right that wrong". Nope.

The story focus on Sam's leap in to a Bill Gates kinda guy in 1999, close to Project Quantum Leap's "present". In doing so his memory starts to return causing Sam to remember his forgotten wife. Sam's mission is to try and keep the billionaire's assistant from dying in a car crash as well as reuniting her with a illegitamite son. Meanwhile in the present, the "Leapee Gates" has also retained his memory during the leap and gives indications he knows more about QL than other Leapers. In addition we get some good back ground on Sam's brother and family and how they have dealt with Sam's "absence".

Most of the time I found my self re-reading chapters because the author would start on one subject and leave them to start down another. Specifically concerning Al's search for a "chip" as well as the ending concerning the "Retrieval" Leaping. Decent story but don't be fooled into thinking it's a resolution to loose ends.

Summary: Oh, Boy
Review: Wow. This book is amazing. I don't know about you, but I usually get right into a book, and this one was no exception. I have been a Quantum Leap fan since I was 11, and I'm 22 now. For 11 years this series has drawn me in, and the books only make it better. This one in paticular brings you deep into the mind of Sam Beckett, and the struggle he has had to endure for the last 5 years. I won't give away the story, but this book will teach you more about Sam, Al, Donna, and even Ziggy than you ever thought you knew!!

Summary: If you're a Quantum Leap fan...
Review: You'll enjoy the final (unfortunately) entry in the novelization of the series, "Mirror's Edge." Carol Davis, unlike writers of some of the other Leap novels, completely understands the concept of "Quantum Leap" and the characters of Sam Beckett and Al Calavicci. Sam and Al come alive in her capable hands. Carol has been writing "Quantum Leap" stories for a long time, and it shows in this heartfelt book. I bought the book on a Saturday, started reading it on Monday, and when I got to the final third of the book, I couldn't put it down. And the ending -- well, let's just say I can't remember the last time I was moved so by a book. I hate to see the novels end, and since Universal/Berkley won't allow Sam to get home, this was a great way for it to end. I recommend this book whole-heartedly to everyone.
