Rating: Summary: Not very good Review: This book was dull and I could barely keep awake to read it. If you have insomnia I would recommend this one but only then. It was a disappointment because most of the others in this series were good.
Rating: Summary: It's O.K. Review: THis Book was O.K. And I think you should read it. I think it does get boring at some points but it is still pretty cool. I think some other Douglas Niles books are better but you decide
Rating: Summary: Good, but Verminaard is better. Review: This is a good, solid book. As another reviewer stated, it IS slow, but worth reading. The author uses good descriptions, but personally I think that Flint, the King (another Niles book) was superior to this one. I also think that Before the Mask, which told the story of Verminaard, was better. Read it if you've already started the series, but if you haven't, then start on a different book, like the Gully Dwarves or Before the Mask.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: This was the book that got me hooked on Dragonlance. Its is very well writen. The characters are well developed and the story is very easy to follow. Even if you don't understand the Dragonlance universe. I would highly recomend this book to anyone just gettting into Fantasy.
Rating: Summary: Before the Mask was better Review: Well, this book was all right, but I found it inferior to Before the Mask, which told the story of Verminaard Dragonbane. Yeah, Ariakas was cool, but it was too slow and parts were totally pointless. A good book to read if you've already started the series, but don't begin on it.
