Rating: Summary: Exciting beginning---impossible to put down Review: I remember that when Robotech was first showing on my TV, I HATED it...couldn't stand it..thought it was the must boring show ever! Then, I saw New Generation..it was so different from the others. Everything took place on land with no base, just a group of fighters setting out to destroy the enemy. When I heard the book was out, I immediately went to every bookstore to find it. I picked it up, and couldn't put it down! The beginning was so fast paced and exciting..and I suggest to any Robotech lover to read this book, especially if you're interested in what Jack McKinney thinks the Invid look like!
Rating: Summary: Earth is invaded again! Review: The book really starts after the invasion is already over, when military units of the Expeditionary Force start to return. Scott Bernard is one of the pilots in the first wave whose mission is to attack Reflex Point, the Invid's main hive/base. But to his horror the first wave, along with his girlfriend, are wiped out and he is alone in a world he has never seen before. The plot flows swiftly and there is a lot of action as the main characters fight their way north, through hostile territory to mankind's only hope: Reflex Point.

Rating: Summary: One of the best books Mckinney has written Review: This is one of the best of the Robotech series. It has a good story, lots of action, and follows the TV series without too many changes. The characters, while they have been done before, are still unique and very interesting. I would highly suggest this to anyone with even basic knowledge of Robotech.
