Rating: Summary: An interesting and captivating mystery. Review: Hidden Agenda is one of the most interesting and captivating books I have read in a long while. I loved the characters. Hats off to Skye.
Rating: Summary: Review from Mysterious Woman magazine 6/98 Review: Hidden Agenda is the first of the Magical Mystery series and I was thoroughly intrigued.... This book is a new-age dream with healers, witches, and astrologers. It also has the religious right and a few cynics...the subject matter is intense and the romance does not stop at the bedroom door.
Rating: Summary: ironic mystery thriller , challenging religious values Review: Hidden Agenda kept my interest from the beginning to the end. The characters were real people, with real problems. I felt anger toward the narrow mindedness of the small town people, warmth toward the main characters and situations that kept my interest. Never did solve the mystery of the murders tho I had only 2 choices left when I reached the end. I'm looking forward to her next book. Kudos to Skye on her first mystery.
Rating: Summary: Entertaining page turner Review: In this entertaining page turner, Alexander has written what is perhaps the first New Age mystery. - (Aquarius Magazine)
Rating: Summary: A rousing and intriguing tale....a good read. Review: NAPRA ReView, January 1998 Alexander writes a rousing and intriguing tale about two mysterious deaths in a small North Carolina town. Charlotte McCrae, the astrologer who is called on to untangle the mystery, takes her place in a cast of unforgettable characters....Alexander, an astrologer with more than 20 years of experience, provides an inside look at the real meaning of witchcraft, herbcraft, and the methods of a working astrologer. A good read with a special twist at the end.
Rating: Summary: A refreshingly different mystery. Review: This is a traditional mystery with several twists: the protagonist is a strong woman AND an astrologer. The portrayal of the South from the protagonists point of view is accurate, touching, and funny. For something different, give this book a try.
