Summary: GREEN'S BEST CONAN EFFORT
Review: Conan and the God's of the Mountain was Roland Green's best Conan pastiche...which isn't saying a helluva lot since Green is generally regarded as the worst writer Tor used on their Conan series. Still, Green manages to rise above the horrible and deliver a solid, if un-remarkable conan story. Faily lively with action and better fleshed-out characters.

Conan and sometimes love and Partner the pirate Valeria are pursued by Assasins and spies and come upon a Go-Haunted mountain where Conan's skill with the sword is of little use. Green manages a story without the usual mad wizard or witch as the primary villian and has Conan actually forced to use his wits...one of the things Howard was so skilled at.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Green delivers good, solid fun.
Review: Good characters, well developed intrigues and flashes of blood, sorcery and rampaging creatures. I'll definitely join Green for another Conan adventure.
