Summary: A Real Winner!
Review: This is one of the greatest books I have read in a long time. I am a real fan of Dean Koontz but I am afraid this one really gives him a run for his money. Just to echo some other comments: "Why isn't this book on the bestseller's list?" and "How does a person write something this good on their first book?" Hope Mr. Kleier has something new for us soon!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A MUST for readers of the suspense thriller genre!
Review: Terrific plot! Realistic dialogue! Believable characters! Suspense in EVERY chapter! I'm in awe that a first time writer could create this novel! If you like intricate plotting, this writer is for YOU! If you like suspense thrillers, you will hate to put this novel down just to eat and sleep!

Summary: An imaginative, thoroughly original thriller
Review: The Last Day is a page turner that entertains every minute as it barrels ahead from a meteoric beginning to a brilliant conclusion, wrapping up the many intriguing threads of plot the author has laid down. Science and religion play off against each other as a bionic Messiah reveals truth to church leaders, politicians and journalists. Her profound insights -- yes the Messiah is a woman -- are a little too environmentalist and feminist for my taste, but it is hard not to cheer her on as she stands up to the politicians and clerics. The State of Israel and the Roman Catholic Church take some hard hits, and this may affect the story's marketability both as a book and as a potential film. I've heard something about a made for TV movie or miniseries. There would be a great film here if there is a producer ready to brave the anger of some powerful institutions and retell this intriguing and entertaining story with all the bite that's in the book. The Last Day is worth many times the price of admission. Let's hope Mr. Kleier has more such books in him.

Summary: A 10-plus! Humongously entertaining....
Review: One heck of a novel. The best I've read in many a moon. I've already got a line on who would be a mesmerizing Jeza in the movie version - Kate Winslet. She would be simply smashing. C'mon, bestseller lists out there! Why isn't this great book on any of them?? Thanks, Mr. Kleier for a terrific novel. The only thing that could top it would be a sequel (hint, hint! ;))

Summary: Hollywood, here we come
Review: Ah yes, the boogie man arrives on the wings of angels. Must admit that this is well done, and the author certainly heats up the Catholic Church. If the list of forbidden books was still around, this would definitely make it. Entertaining, but I had the feeling of MOVIE throughout. Don't expect spiritual guidance.

Summary: The best book I have read in a long time.
Review: Once in a long while, you find a book that makes you go "hmmm". This is the book. I can't believe this is the author's first book. I can only hope that his next book is as good or better. I have told all my friends about this book -- anyone who wants a good read -GET THIS BOOK!!. I can't say enough about this book.

Summary: Every Cleric should read this book!
Review: Every cleric should read this book.
As a praticing agnostic I began to wonder myself if my posistion may also be suspect.
As the world nears the millenium and more and more "cults" wiggle their way out of the woodwork I was left agast at how much destruction and how much hope they may have to offer for a troubled world.

I am very suprised I have not seen this author or this book on any best seller list. For me it was like finding a polished jewel in a rock heap. I looking very forward to the next book that this author cares to share with us.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Stupendous!
Review: With the millenium right around the corner the truth of this book can be frightening. The author must have done an incredible amount of research into biblical history. It was an impressive book that left me wondering about the nature of the Messiah's coming...whether the first or second coming shouldn't matter to any of us. I certainly hope Mr. Kleier writes many more books with such sensitivity to today's issues and events.

Summary: Grabbed me from page 1 and didn't let go.
Review: Never has a book grabbed my interest so quickly. I couldn't wait to get home and read it. It did make getting to sleep difficult but it was worth it. I was only sorry when I was finished. Both intriguing and uplifting and the timing is great. I hope it is made into a movie that does the book justice.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best of the Best of 1997!!!
Review: Why this book has not made it to the top 10 bestseller lists is beyond me. This book is a real thought provoker. I only wish that it were longer.
