Summary: Keeps you reading
Review: I kept saying to myself, "Well, just one more page and then I'll put it down," and hours later I realize how late it's gotten. The story pulls you in from the very first page and just keeps getting more thrilling and suspenseful as it goes. Just when you think you've got it figured out, it throws you a curve (or a fastball, or a slider), you never know what's coming next. But the action just keeps heating up and the problems keep mounting until you think there's no way to resolve them. Rest assured, the ending pulls it all together, very convincingly and astonishingly.

Summary: Uncanny
Review: Has anyone reading this amazing novel begun to notice all the "coincidences" in the story with what's really starting to happen in the world? Set in the near furture, the novel is extraordinarily prophetic. For example, the parallels with what was on the front page of today's Wall Street Journal (the arrest of the Denver-based "Concerned Christians" in Israel) and all the other bizarre happenings in the Mid East and Rome with the rise of all these milennium cults--it's downright unsettling! This book has been precisely on the money with dozens of "coincidences," including the winter solstice meteor shower this coming fall (expected to be the largest in a century, precisely as it was forecast in this book), not to mention the eerie forecasts about the U.S. presidency and papacy, etc. etc. Not only did I find this to be one of the finest suspense thrillers in a long time, but now I'm beginning to wonder exactly who this author is, and how he's managed all this clairvoyance. Spooky, but fun reading.

Summary: Boggling!
Review: This book stopped my in my tracks, grabbed me by the short hairs and wouldn't let me go! I'm hopelessly infatuated. Glenn Kleier is a contemporary prophet and this work is as close to a real vision as you're ever gonna get. The more I read it, the more I get out of it. Hugely entertaining, unbearably suspenseful, breathtakingly intense, and richly rewarding.

Summary: Good read! Is our destiny sealed?
Review: Well written and fast paced. Invokes the reader to reflect on the history and ethics of our religious beliefs and institutions. Depicts humanity's never ending turmoil concerning spiritual truth.

Summary: This book was intriguing and suspenseful.
Review: I couldn't put this book down. It was great. Very timely and well written. I will read more from this author.

Summary: I'm a Science Fiction fan. Why did I read this?
Review: Well, maybe because the theme sounded good and it was. This book reflects what may happen in 2000 with all those wackos out there. The book starts greate. But latter on it keeps slow and eventually boring. I even found myself skipping many pages because of how bored it turned. Anyway, it's a good start for a first book, althought don't let yourself fool about the Biblical interpretations. Do you want accurate Biblical interpretations? Read Asimov's Guide to The Bible New Testament, section Appocalipse.

Summary: Couldn't put it down
Review: It took me all weekend, but I finished it. I literally could not put it down. Let me warn you, carve out some time for this one, because it's the type of story you can't tear yourself away from. After ten pages I was hooked. I even cheated and jumped ahead to the final pages, but still couldn't figure it out till I read it all. It's that kind of book. Involved, but not tedious and never boring. There is no guessing any of this. The story is as original and unpredictable as they come--probably because of the uniqueness of the storyline--the coming of a true messiah. This is not, however, a religious book, although there are wonderful spiritual elements to it. But it does get down and dirty about religion, and turns a scathing eye on modern day religious hypocrites. There is a definite purpose and intent to the story that leads directly to a startling conclusion (I won't give it away), but it's not at all what I expected and the ending surprised me in a very positive and thrilling way. I like the way this author thinks and I like the vision he has about what the 'new' messiah wants of mankind. This book will fray your nerves with suspense at times, but in the end, it's all worth while--the ending will leave you grinning with satisfaction!

Summary: Outstanding reading
Review: This is truly an entertaining book. Keeps you guessing until the very last, and surprises you with a most unexpected ending that solves what seem to be impossible problems. This is as good as they get. Some people may not appreciate the humor and the satire and will not like the in-your-face stance the messiah takes, but the message is bold, relevant and told so very believably. You will find yourself thinking about it late at night long after you finish it.

Summary: Best book I've read in years
Review: This is a book that gladdened the heart of this old agnostic - a powerful and meaningful story filled with obvious truths that only a novelist can tell - it should be read by everyone for the hope of opening their eyes to truth.

Summary: First-rate novel
Review: I would never have read this book if my husband forced me to. It just didn't seem to be my cup of tea. And it would have been my loss--he won the right to say "I told you so." The Last Day is a truly incredible story and not what I expected. It isn't depressing or morbid, but a really fascinating tale that has the most up-beat, surprising ending. I admire very much the quality of the writing and plotting, which is first class. Extensive research went into developing the complex, but very understandable and fast-paced story. I experienced all the range of emotions you want to feel in a top-notch thriller--anticipation, excitement, humor, fear, sadness, and finally, great joy and appreciation. It left me longing for more.
