Rating: Summary: Great Christian Fiction. Review: Don't believe the negative reviews you see; most are just wanna-be-writers who are upset at the success of this series. This novel is fantastic. It is the third book in the series and moves along quite well. Nicolae Carpathia is evil personified; the dialogue is all-that-and-a-bag-of-potato-chips; and if you've read this far - why stop now? Click that buy button! You won't be sorry folks! Peace-out
Rating: Summary: Action Packed, A Very Good Read! Review: The Action just doesn't stop. A very good interpretation of the apocalypse. You'll want to keep reading more. One of those cover to cover books. It has a very interesting plot, with lots of religous implications. The characters are well defined, with roles perfect for each one. A very good book indeed.
Rating: Summary: More Sheep Fodder! Review: Why God or Satan would want anything to do with our planet or it's people is beyond me. More Christian (sheep fodder) propaganda masquerading as entertainment to frighten the mental Pygmies into believeing this stuff is true...get a life.
Rating: Summary: Awesome book! Review: Nicolae, by Tim LeHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, keeps you on the edge of your seat as Buck Williams, Rayford Steele and his daughter, Chloe, are on a mission to win as many souls as they can to Christ before the Second Coming. Not only that, but Rayford and Buck both work directly for Nicolae, the Antichrist foretold in biblical prophecy. Nicolae is the worst person in history to walk on the earth. I recommend this book to everyone. There are so many intense parts, especially about the rescue that Buck attempts. It is written so well that you can picture everything from the beginning to end. I promise this book will not bore you at all. The characters' feelings are described with details so that you feel like you know them personally.
Rating: Summary: Read this book!!! Review: This book was amazing! You don't have to be religious to enjoy Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins 3rd book in the Left Behind series. Put together a pilot, a news reporter, and a couple of inter-related people and you have yourself the Tribulation Force. The one thing they all have in common is that they all work under one man. Nicolae Carpathia. The most powerful person in the world after the disappearances and who the Force believes to be the anti christ. They must stay together in order to stay alive and keep a strong faith in God. But one problem. Carpathia doesn't know that they know each other and doesn't know how deep their religion goes. As he slowely destroyes the world with his new laws and economic systems the force fights to save lives, including that of the world renowed scientist Dr. Ben Judah who vanished after his families murders and is being hunted by many islamic martyrs. Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins work together to create an awesome book on religion and the bibles talk of revelations. Both of them really know how to write a book and draw you in! If you had to pick one of the books in the series to read this would be the one! This one has the most drama, adventure, and interesting facts on a common religious belief of the ending of the world.
Rating: Summary: Dragged in Places, But Still a Good Read Review: This third book in the Left Behind Series dragged a bit in places, but that's OK-you can't expect every book in a long series to be equally good ! Part of the reason it draggged is that there was some summarizing of previous books added in for readers who may have picked up this book without seeing the former books. Even so, don't skip this book, because some important things happen, and you need to know those things for the following books. For me, the most interesting thing in this book was Nicolae's ongoing relationship with Hattie, and what happens with that.
Rating: Summary: This book is beyond 5 stars! Review: Nicolae is the edge-of-your-seat thriller that the series has been waiting for. If you thought Left Behind and Tribulation Force were somewhat slow, don't give up on the series! Nicolae takes off and doesn't slow down. This book is very well written. Read this book on a day when you won't have to put it down and leave, because you certainly will not want to! Adventurous throughout, and with an explosive ending that makes you crave for the next book (Soul Harvest), Nicolae is arguably one of the best books in the series, if not of any book out there.

Rating: Summary: The thrill keeps coming! Review: After reading "Conquest of Paradise" by Britt Gillette, I was instantly turned onto biblical end times literature, and I just started reading the Left Behind series. The first book I read in about a day, but I finished books two and three in about a day and a half.
"Nicolae" focuses on the consolidation of suspected antichrist Nicolae Carpathia's power as he creates the infamous Global Community to consolidate political power, the Global Community Network to oversee the media, and the Enigma Babylon One World Faith to unite the world's religions. Carpathia appoints himself grand potentate of the Global Community and moves closer to becoming absolute ruler. Meanwhile, the Tribulation Force continues to search for ways to undermine Nicolae's regime. Only they realize his true identity is that of the antichrist, but the Sixth Seal of the Book of Revelation is about to be poured out upon the earth. Will our heroes survive? Will they accomplish their mission to undermine Carpathia? I can't wait to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading books four through twelve, and I encourage other Left Behind fans to pick up "Conquest of Paradise: An End-Times Nano-Thriller" as additional reading. It's the book that got me into this series, and whoa, what a book! What "Left Behind" lacks in realism, "Conquest of Paradise" adds in abundance. A little less subtle than the Left Behind series, the antichrist isn't readily identifiable from the beginning. In fact, since I wasn't expecting to read a tribulation novel, it totally blew me away. The prose is more advanced and the international politics is identical to the current world scene and the war on terror. Peppered with biblical verses, "Conquest of Paradise" will turn even the most hardened skeptics into believers, or at least it will make them think twice. No one can afford to miss it. Book four brings the "Soul Harvest". If the Tribulation Force can't stop Carpathia, then maybe they can at least win a few souls for Jesus Christ!
Rating: Summary: An exciting story that lacks any real spiritual message Review: I really enjoy these novels. I think that they are interesting, exciting, and well-plotted. However, the truth is, that despite all of that, when I read a Christian novel, I am not reading it so much for the plot or for excitement, but rather, I tend to read it hoping to come to a more fully realized understanding of Christianity. These novels fail to deliver on that level. Again, I have enjoyed all eleven novels very much, so I would strongly recomend that you buy them if that is all you are looking for. The problem that I have with them is just that every time I finish one, I put it down feeling empty, feeling like the authors never really took advantage of the oppertunity to talk about our faith in a meaningful way, in a way that would help Christians become better Christians and help non-Christians have a better understanding of what it means to believe in Christ. If you are looking for a novel like that, I would recomend trying Brian Caldwell's novel WE ALL FALL DOWN. It is not the most pleasent novel in the world as it faces the horror of the Apocalypse full on, but I have never read a book about Christianity that so fully and completely explored the ramifications of the faith. When I put Caldwell's novel down, I was left with a new perspective on my faith and felt like I was the better because of it. I have re-read it three times so far and come away with something new each time. If you're looking for something a little more substantial than LEFT BEHIND, I would definitly recomend picking it up
