Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Excellent, no matter what your perspective. Review: I for one read this book in only a day. What saddens me is to see the negative reviews that some have written about it. The purpose in writing this book (and the others) was not solely for entertainment or profit. These books are not written to convince people of one Rapture doctrine or another. Rather, they have the message of God's love for his people thoughout. Some reviews had wrong facts (saying such things like Amanda Steele was killed in a nuclear blast), said that the Antichrist was not a good enough villian (he isn't supposed to be one; he wins the people over and then turns nasty), and some even talk about how it is pointless to write about such things if they aren't happening now. Has it ever occured to these people that these books are chock full of Biblical references and the plan of salvation? No matter what time you think that the Rapture will occur, there are still probably going to be some of these books around. Then those who were really "left behind" may find them and glean some truth from them in an otherwise lost world. From the sounds of it though, it seems that some current readers could profit as well from a little religion.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The best yet! Review: These books are wonderful and exhilerating to read, but has anyone even considered the fact that these novels are FICTION and nothing more? People are taking these books much too literally. Sure, they're supposed to make you think "what if", but what if everyone who has read this books goes psycho and nothing happens? THINK ABOUT IT. People in this era are much too easily influenced. Get a grip.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: So Scary ... So true ... So near !!! Review: Thank God for such talented authors to warn and tell people of what to expect in the very very near future. If they won just one reader for His Kingdom it was all worth it. I am a rapture believer and after reading these books so many things made sense. Thanks !!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Awesome thriller!!!!! Review: These books are the best I've ever read. The authors really make you feel that you're really there. The question is- Am I going to be left behind? We really need to take this seriously. We don't know when the hour is-only the Father. This book is about the antichrist and it shows how much control over everybody he will really have. This book is the best so far. I encourage everybody who reads this review to read the books for the message, not for the writing. I have read reviews in which people criticize the writing- that is not the purpose of the books. What is important is the message being told. These are awesome books which everybody has to read!!!!!
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Fun for all fiction fans Review: You don't have to believe in the rapture or even be a christian to like these books. If you got a kick out of "The Omen" and even rooted for the bad guy (or the good guy, depending on your perspective), you'll enjoy these series of novels. Authors Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins paint a sometimes hopeful, at times frightening, but always fascinating portrait of their version of the future. The first novel highlights the disappearance, in an instant, of millions all over the world. In the second, "Tribulation Force", a group of new believers band together in search for a second chance. The third installment, "Nicolae", features the antichrist's rise to power. Dramatic and action-packed, with believable characters you can almost identify with, these books are impossible to put down. Check 'em out. Who knows, you might even root for the bad guy (or..... :-)
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: WOW Review: These books are awsome the suspense never stops, you dont know what will happen next. I recommend this book for anyone who is into the bible or the Book of the Revelation.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Still a good series, but too much repetition in this one... Review: Although I think this series is well written and interesting, for the most part, this book in the series reiterates too many of the facts that have already been stated. If you don't know what is going on, go back and read the first two books again, don't take up 100 pages telling us what Rayford has done wrong, what Buck has seen and done before, etc.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Exceptional reading Review: I was wary of starting this series but at my mother-in-law's insistence I did. Every book has left me wanting more, just as "Nicolae" did. I have now finished the 5th book and I am anxiously awaiting the 6th. Wonderful reading, will make you think!
Rating: ![0 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-0-0.gif) Summary: An update Review: This book has passed the one million mark in sales and sold more than 100,000 in August 1999 alone, two years since its release. All six books in the series are over a million in sales with six more titles to come. We are overwhelmed, but more important are the many stories of affected lives. Thanks to fans and critics alike for caring, and for the word-of-mouth that keeps this going.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Not as good as the others Review: This book was a little slower then the first two. The second part of the book was better than the first half. I do agree with the other review that you just want to pound the antichrist, he scares me.
