Summary: why is the book different than the movie?
Review: I was just wondering if someone could tell me why the ending of the book is different than that of the movie......

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great book! Cover is not the same as shown up top.
Review: I wish there was more. "Blade" was very easy to read... I finished reading it in one day. Your thrust into the action from the very first page. The writing is very fluid, before you know it you've read the first fifteen chapters. It leaves the reader with a great cliff-hanger at the end, so I hope there is a part II.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fabulous high energy dark story of Blade.
Review: If dark superheros are your thing then this book is for you! Book and movie are high energy story about tragic vampire killer who follows his quest to eliminate the world of vampires. Great story-line visuals.

Summary: the absolute best ever
Review: noone, not ONE Blade fan can compare to me. seen the movie 40 times on the dot, wanna get up to 100 before the end of 99. the book was great, very good. the author was very descriptive, and made a good novelization of the movie. and for you blade fans, if you think you are a better one than me, think again, then talk to me, my friends, and my family.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent adaption of the movie. Gives insight into hero.
Review: This adaption of the now hit movie moves at a quick pace, as the movie does. I enjoyed the detail of the weaponry and history of the clans of vampires that obviously could not be detailed in the movie. The author also faithfully captures the moods of each scene effectivelly while still giving us the chills and excitement of the characters and all their strengths and weaknesses. Highlights would be the discussion of the EDTA darts as well as the opening sequence in the club. The detail and attention to finite points are impressive. All in all you probably get twice your moneys worth and this is the type of book you will want to reread after a few weeks...excellent! Reviewed by: David Zaritsky (also a collector of Blade props from the movie)

Summary: Teenager? Hate to read, like me? You'll love this book.
Review: Well how do we start? We begin, of course, by saying that Blade is a kick-butt movie!!! Starring Wesley Snipes (Drop Zone, Passenger 57) and Steven Dorff, directed by John Carpenter and written by David S. Goyer (The Crow: City of Angels). With a production team and staff like that, what film could go wrong?

Blade centers around a young man who is half-vampire, half-human being. He has all the powers, strengths and agility of a vampire, but he has none of their weakneses. (He can go out in sunlight, sustain hot fire..etc...). Steven Dorff plays an "upstart" vampire who threatens to "blow apart" the secret organisation of vampires, believing that they should control the human beings, not live under their rule.

So he sets out to take control and become the head of the vampire group. Anyhow...it all builds up to a BRILLIANT climax, involving the life of all the vampires, and the future of humanity...

Summary: JUST BRILLIANT...THE FILM KICKED AND SO DOES THE BOOK!!
