Summary: what was that other guy thinking?
Review: Even though i do not own this "gift set" i have read all five in the Sword of Truth series and i would like to say that i believe all of them to be superb novels with extraordinary imagination and beautiful details and imagery. Although i will have to say the best by far is The Wizard's First Rule, the others follow the story nicely and all in all the books are excellent heart-pounding literature that pulls you in to the story and makes you feel as if you are actually there. So i ask of the guy who wrote the review i read, "What was that guy thinking?"

Summary: You've got to read these books!
Review: Goodkind rules! This series is the best I've ever read, together with WoT. If Goodkind hadn't stolen so much things from Jordan and Tolkien and others, I probably would have considered it the very best. Every page is full of action, and the characters are extremely real and alive. If Jordan wants to keep his place at the top, hes gotta move his writing on.

Read 'em or die!

Summary: 5 is not enough stars
Review: Goodkind was the first fantasy author I read. The way he set the story line off so rapidly was perfect. Every time I read one I had to hurry and get the next. Throughout the books your constantly on edge. I would really like to know if there will be a sixth. And when?

Summary: Avid Goodkind Fan
Review: I first picked up Wizard's First Rule to help wile away the hours of an extremely long flight ( Alaska to Florida). By the time I hit Jacksonville, it was finished. I'm a speed reader in normal circumstances, but I exceeded my best time with this one! Needless to say, I was hooked. I've read the "biggies" of this genre, but this series is far and away the best. I don't own the box set, although I have purchased each one individually, and they occupy a very prominent space on my mantle. Each year, I find myself growing inpatient for the next installment, and I am like a kid with a new toy when it finally hits the shelves. Sadly, the book doesn't last very long. Some say that Goodkind plagiarize's other authors, but I have found him to be refreshingly innovative with his stories and look forward to many more installments.

Summary: Terrible
Review: I have been a serious reader of fantasy novels and fiction in general for many years. The vast majority of the time, I walk away from a book with a good feeling. In other words, I like most things I read. No book has left me with a WORSE feeling than this one. Every character was a tired cliche...Goodkind followed the "HOW TO WRITE A FANTASY NOVEL" guidelines to a tee. It was generic and boorish. And not surprisingly, I predicted the exact outcome of the book, how the hero would "cleverly" outwit the villian, while I was still 200 pages from the end! I hated it. Horrible. The closest thing Goodkind had to an imagination here was a nice title.

Summary: Outstanding Series
Review: I have read all of the SoT books at least 3 times each, I feel they are very well writen. My compliments to Terry Goodkind. It is rare to find great authors in this time, Terry has shown that he stands among the greats. I look forward to the further adventures of Richard Rahl/Cypher, Kahlan Amnel, Zed, Chase and more.

Summary: The Sword Of Truth Books Review
Review: I have read the 5 books that are avaiable at the moment And I have to say that when I read 1st title (Wizard's First Rule) and Finished it in the middle of the night I could not wait till morning so that I can go and Buy the reast of the titles to continue the saga. I was truly amazed with the authors way of stimulating a full range of the emotions. Mostly how he can make the story go from sad to miserable and then make it more depresing still, gets the reader glued to the books so that he or she can find out how the caracters in the story can get out of the strive they are in; and then keep the reader like my selfe hanging for the next book to be published so that i can get my hends on it, read it and maybe relax with the knowledge that the caracters (one can't help, but to fall in love with) conquer their troubles and get to life their lifes the way they hope to. Nowing the Author it will be a whille. Truelly Looking Forward to the book 6. whenever that may be.

I recomend these books to any true fantasy lover and garenty thay will love it as much as I did.

( Sorry for any speling errors but English is New To me. )

Summary: The Complete set
Review: I have read the complete set of 5 books. They were riviting to say the least, they will keep you on the edge of your seat, the unexpected occurs at every turn - I could not have imagined the problems that Richard Cypher (Rahl) and Kahlem Amnell would get in and out of. Totally different from any other fantasies I've read

Summary: Sword Of Truth Series
Review: I have read the entire Sword of Truth series all the way up to Naked Empire (which when I was in the book store I bought on sight despite the price simply because I love the series so much.) I LOVE this series and have acutally, I'll admit it, read it twice. Terry Goodkind manages to create a new world just for the readers and flesh it out enough to make it almost angible yet still leaves a lot up to the readers imagination. It's the perfect mix of telling you what to see and letting you see if for yourself. I would suggest to anyone that they read this series.
