Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Morigu series - the best fantasy books I've ever read Review: In my opinion, better than Tolkien. I've read hundreds of fantasy novels and the Morigu series tops them all. It's gritty, harsh, and sucks you in from page one.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: morigu author alive and well in Hollywood! Review: Mark C Perry, despite reports to the contrary, is alive and well, having changed his name to Mark Leahy. He heard about our reviews and commentary and posted a reply at http://www.writerpunk.com/novels.html. The long and short of it is he is considering writing and publishing the remainder of the series (he is guessing 2 books) but asks us to keep saying nice things about him and his books to spur him along. All of I've got to say is HOORAY! I have loved his books from the opening pages and look forward to him writing and completing the series. I believe the Mark Perry who wrote to this page has info on a publisher interested in the book, please get that to Mr. Leahy if at all possible.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Long Strange Trip Its Been Review: Morigu the Dead was a long awaited, by me at least, sequel to an excellent book. It is filled with brilliant imagery and gives a nod to many so called pagan beliefs, brought to life in fiction of course. Mr. Perry is an inventive author who should seriously consider finishing the series, he would have fans falling over each other in their thanks. If you read this book and like it check out Mark E. Rogers and David Eddings as well.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: I am not alone! Review: Mr. Perry -- Just a quick word of thanks for keeping great fantasy tradition alive...for 2 books, at least. After plowing through works of the more famous authors (Tolkien, Anthony, Donaldson, Weis/Hickman, etc.) and finally coming across your [incomplete] series about a decade ago, I knew great fantasy writers were still out there. You are still out there, aren't you? It's been a wish of mine for many years that this series would find an ending, but the ending won't write itself. Best wishes that you're still hanging in there and won't leave your fans hanging. Sincere thanks.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Please finish the Series Review: Mr. Perry, please finish this series. I have been dying for more of these books. These books are exciting, intoxicating, and extremely addicting. I have owned both of these books for over ten years and will until I die. They blend action, horror, drama, and the struggle of the human spirit in one powerful story. For anyone who likes science fiction these books are a must read, heck for anyone who just likes a good story these are a must read. I think everyone should own these books. In my opinion they easily rank with the Edding's Belgeraid, Jordan's Wheel of Time, and yes *gasp* Lord of the Rings Hopefully the author is really alive, and not deceased as rumor has it, and the publishing industry is smart enough to put more of his work in print. So please Mr. Perry, KEEP WRITING, WE WILL KEEP READING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Finally, something different in fantasy writing! Review: Perry has written an excellent series. It has a wonderful story line and excellent characters. No one character is perfect. All have their fatal flaws. For example, Margawt may be driven to destroy the world because the ground itself is evil. Cucullin may be driven to his doom in his quest for revenge with Apkieren. This dark side of the characters is refreshing and it gets away from the typical fantasy hero. Although war is common in fantasy books, it is this type of war that is intriguing. A war fought to bring the beast back is a scary thought indeed. A criticism: Armies of Earth's middle ages never reached the size that they do in this book. It would be unbelievably difficult on logistics alone for an army to have 40,000 or more in it. But the armies here are sometimes larger. Also, the attempt at the feminist aspect with Tara Brightblade and Gwenyth is not needed. They are great characters but they dont have to feminist. When is the next book coming out?I've been searching for many years. Does anyone know??????
