Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This is one of the best fantasy series ever written Review: After reading the other reviews on this website, I am glad to learn that I am not the only reader who was eagerly anticipating a sequel to this series. I finished the first two books in a few hours and have been searching for the third one for years. Unfortunately, it is not available as it seems the author only wrote two books. Rarely have I read such engrossing battle scenes in a fantasy novel. Mr. Perry is adept at providing vivid and, at times gory, depictions of battlefield action. This is matched by his ability to create fantastic characters complete with human flaws and shortcomings (even the Gods in the story). The conflict within the Morigu; the nobility of Dammuth, the Dwarves, and Elves; the duplicity of Fealoth and Arianrood; and the might of the Demon Lords and Apkieran (who is wicked!) make for an amazing story. I would rank this up with the best of Feist and Eddings, despite the obscurity of the author. I only hope that all the raves and support on this website may somehow reach the author or publisher and convince him/them to finish the series.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: DESPERATELY SEEKING SEQUAL Review: I FIRST CAME ACCROSS THESE NOVELS IN THE EARLY 80'S, AND THEY BLEW ME AWAY. THE CHARACTERS SWEPT YOUR MIND INTO A RICH COLORFUL WORLD WHERE YOU COULD ALMOST HEAR THE BATTLES, SMELL THE WARS AND FEEL THE PAIN OF THE CURSED ELF. THE BOOKS STUCK IN MY MIND AND MY BOOKSHELF, AVOIDING THE DREADED GARAGE SALE CLEARENCE, TIME AND AGAIN. WHEN I LOGGED ONTO AMAZON, I SEARCHED FOR A SEQUAL. TOO BAD. PUBLISHER GET ON THIS!!! CONTACT THE AUTHOR AND LIGHT A FIRE UNDER HIS BOTTOM! IF THE OTHER COMENTS ON THIS PAGE ARE ANY INDICATION, THERE ARE A LOT OF FRUSTRATED READERS OUT HERE!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: AT LAST! New possibilities are opened! Review: I first ran into this series when I was in high school. I loved it then, and still do. So much in fact that I started a campaign world for a that role playing game on deep dark places underground and fire breathing lizards. That world is still up and running after several years of play. PLEASE Mark if you see this review, continue the series, lets see the next book! Despite the short length of the book, the story line is incredible, and the hooks and twists have many fans (myself included) waiting eagerly, now that we know reports of Mark's demise were greatly exagerated.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Excellent use of Characters Review: I have never read a series of fantasy books that is more realistic than what Perry has written. One man against a dragon-Who do you think wins? The total disregard he has for the "sacred" main characters and the way they are eliminated is very refreshing!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Morigu: The Dead Review: I have read many fantasy series (Sword of Truth, Lord of the Rings, Wheel of Time...etc) and this series defintely holds its own with those series. Although both books are short in pages compare to the other series, his character development is complex and indepth. The story flows very smoothly and it does capture you to the point that you cannot stop reading.Unfortunately, I have been awaiting for nearly 8 years for him to finish this series. I do not know if he is dead or not willing to write, but if you are reading this Mr. Perry, please finish the series! If not Mr. Perry, somebody finish this series! It is extremely frustrating, enjoying something but not able to have closure!

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: What/When's next? Review: I liked the story but, like the first book, it doesn't have an end. For such a short book (200 pages), there is a lot of action. This continuing story line would be ok, but the time between books is frustrating. I've been contacted one publishing house, mistaking me for the author, wanting to know about re-releasing the series and the next book. I only wish I knew where this guy is and, like all the others here, when the next book is due out. Mark, if you're out there, make the next book at least twice as long if book #4 isn't going to get here by 2000.

It's one off the best I have ever come across. It is better than the dragon lance series. To bad we have to wait so long for the follow up. Do anyone have an idea when the next one is coming out
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Morigu : The Dead Review: I loved both books from the moment I read them. The story and the characters are far and above most of the fantasy/science fiction that I have read lately and do rank up their with Tolkien and Jordan books. I looked for a sequel for years and even wrote TOR books back in the 80's to find out what had happened. I really hope Mr. Leahy will continue to write and finish this story. I have waited years to find out "what happens next".
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I need to read the REST!!! Review: I read the first two many years ago...my efforts to get the rest have been futile. I've read many and none compare to this series. After several years I still yearn for more! Kudos to all who have actually read any of these!!
