Summary: The pinnacle of the first X-Wing arc
Review: This book blew me away. It is the culmination of the tension that the previous books built, and it does not really leave much to be known. This could be considered the end of the first story arc, with "Wraith Squadron" beginning the next. I love the technical aspect and the dogfighting scenes, which are the best in this installment.

Summary: it was fantastic and suspenseful.
Review: this book was absolutely the best of the series. i have always liked the dogfights and the way the rebels have secret hidden bases. and it has enough romance to keep it a down-to-earth, edge-of-your-seat novel. it was very suspenseful and the addition of the alliance with smugglers was really neat. i have always loved major battles imvolving star destroyers and lots of ships and this book gives you exactly that. capturing imperial capital ships is what i love to see the new republic do. i couldn't put this book down. out of all seven x-wing books i have, this one is definitely my favorite. there weren't too many slow parts in this book. it was a book on new republic buisness management with supplies and snubfighters, etc. this book gets a perfect ten. its everything i could want in a book.

Summary: this book is soooooooo good
Review: This was a really cool book. It was a good conclusion to the authors 4 x-wing books. But you can tell there will be more x-wing books to come. The battle in the end was so good I couldn't put it down.

Summary: One of the best Star Wars books by far
Review: (And that goes for ALL of the X-wing books) I'm ashamed to say that when I first heard about the X-wing books, I decided not to read them because I figured there would be too many battles, and I hate reading battles, so I assumed the novels would be boring to me. But during a severe case of Star Wars withdrawal when I was ready to kill for something new, I figured, what the heck?

Boy was I wrong! The whole series (and especially this book specifically) was so incredible. The best thing about it was that it took us far away from the typical cut-and-dry Star Wars book formula. Wedge Antilles is the unsung hero who clearly proves something I've always thought important: you do not need the force to be heroic (I realize that Han already proved this, but he's in Luke's shadow all the time.)

The battles were honestly not that bad! I didn't understand the technical X-wing terms, but I like how all the characters worked together, and after a while I did get pretty knowledgeable about some things (like the difference between a squint and an eyeball).

Also the romance. I've always thought that Star Wars could use a little more romance, and not just Luke gets dumped by another girl because they just can't live with him. Stackpole not only put romance in the books, but he wrote it very well. Not mushy gushy, but real, open and honest, with realistic obstacles. For instance, Corran and Mirax learning to admit they were wrong in their prejudice about each other and learn to become friends.

My favorite is Pash Cracken. I don't know why, I just like hime a lot. I've also always liked A-wings.

The Bacta War was my favorite mostly because I have a tendency to like the last book in a set of books the best. Honestly I tend to think of trilogies and the like more as one great big book in volumes.

Read this book. Read the whole series!

Summary: I loved this book, because it is a book about X-Wings.
Review: I have always been a Star Wars fan, ever since I saw the movies. Then, when I saw the X-Wing series, I couldn't believe my eyes! Finally, a really cool series focusing on X-Wings! I loved every moment of the series, though I was d when I read the parts where Corran and Mirax supposedly die. A great series! I recommend it to any Star Wars fan. (Especially those eho spend their time playing X-Wing on their computer).

Summary: Excellent Book, the best in the X-wing series
Review: I have read this book more than a couple times and it is one of the most well written Star Wars books ever. I've always been fascinated with Star Wars, X-wings, and the like, and in addition to adding to the interest of Star Wars, it has an excellent plot, great theme, characters, and dialogue, in addition to humor, if you get most of their jokes, that is.

Summary: Long live the greatest X-wing FORCE ever!: Rogue Squadron
Review: I have read almost all the Star Wars novels ever published. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the X-wing Rogue Squadron series is one of the best!!!! The final novel is a must read for any Star Wars fan. Read them in order!! Read them several times!!!

Summary: This book is intense during the space battles.
Review: I personally like this book because I have always love the Star Wars saga. But I also like this book for another reason, the space battles. Take it from me the battles are intense and in depth. Plus you get information on new and the classic characters. If you are look for action and a good plot, I would recomend the Bacta Wars.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Great Book
Review: This is the best of the X-wing series and I recommend it to any avid SW fan.
