Summary: I thought this book is the best sci-fi book ever!
Review: Last year I got this book and didn't pay much attention to it. One day I was bored so I took out this book. Once you start to read it, you will be unable to put it down. This is an incredible mix where you get to know the characters all the while all the adventure could never be fit in a two hour movie. I would recomend it to all other Die Hard Star Wars fans. Seth Clark, age 11

Summary: Next to Tim Zahn, Stackpole's the man!!
Review: If this isn't the number one Star Wars book, it's at least in the top three or four. I love the dogfights, the shootouts, and the character development that took near-center stage in this book. Horn honing his Jedi skills, the return of Bror Jace (sorry if you haven't read it), and the overall growth of my favorite characters, Wedge and Gavin. The only real qualms I had were when Riv Shiel was killed (sorry again!!) and the fact that he devoted less space than I would've liked to the rebellion on Thyferra (last thing I'll spoil, promise). Overall, I liked this book almost as much as I liked ROTJ, and that's not stretching much.

Summary: Fun, fast, and fairly good.
Review: The conclusion of the first 4-book arc in Stackpole's X-Wing Series, this pits Rogue Squadron against the Bacta Cartels and Ysanne Isard in a personal battle. Lots of fun action (both on the ground and in space), and a fairly good selection of characters. My only real complaint is that...well, some of the dialogue seems rather cheesy (I almost felt embarrassed in parts). Still, worth reading if you're a Star Wars fan--it's one of the better novels available.

Summary: This book was boring just like all the other X-wing books
Review: My opionion of the X-wing series is that they all are really boring books. The best part of the X-wing series is when Corran Horn found out he was a Jedi. I've read 47 of the Star Wars books and the X-wing series is the worst!

Summary: No amount of praise given to this book would be enough.
Review: A very satisfying and gripping book which makes you want to turn the page constantly. I don't think there was a slow point in it. The pace of the book snowballed impressively and the action sequence at the end was the best written action sequence I have ever read. Hats off to Mr. Stackpole for an excellent book!

Summary: Its got it all!
Review: I'm not even done with this book yet, I can't put it down! I'm not getting any sleep because i'm reading it untill 1:30 AM! It has a great sense of humor, action, love, and mystery. This is one of my favorite books of all time.

Summary: Lock S-foils into attack positions, 'cause away we go!
Review: In book four, The Bacta War, the legendary Rogue Squadron has left the New Republic and is on the impossible mission of freeing the planet Thyferra from the iron grasp of Ysanne Isard. But impossible is the team's trade and they do it well. Let's cut the chase. This book features some of the most awe inspiring dogfights and space raids ever seen before, movie, book or game. The Rogues rock the galaxy with high-soaring excitement that could only come from Michael A. Stackpole. With the entrance of Tal'dira and his Chir'daki, the action flies and so de the laser blast as Imperial TIEs are eaten for breakfast. Corran Horn must come to terms with his Jedi heritidge and the hilarious appearence of Booster Terrik (the father of Mirax Terrik) brings a little trouble into the love between Corran and Mirax. With all of the favorites and some new characters, The Bacta War is the perfect climax of dogfights and love. As Mr. Stackpole's most incredible X-wing yet, this book is a treasure. Dogfights and action explode as this baby rocks the galaxy. Bravo, Mr. Stackpole. This book rules!

Summary: Seat-of-your-pants dogfights had me biting my nails like mad
Review: One of the things that I was expecting right off the bat were incredible dogfights. I wasn't disappointed! One of the many things about Star Wars which I love is the incredible dogfights that the movies portrayed.

I have an acitve imagination, so sometimes I try to imagine the dogfights that the book is describing using only the information the books have given me. Even though the books don't go into great detail, I can re-enact the dogfights inside my head with ease!

The story elements are rich. Fliry Vorru is the most rounded character in the entire book, since Stackpole spent so much time inside his head and developing his motives and actions. Fliry didn't seem predictable, but rather, he felt...logical.

I love the book. Kudos to Michael Stackpole! I wish that he hadn't ended the series with that book and then gone on to a different squadron, though. I want to know who'ds going to pick up Tycho Celchu's character! He's grounded in the Star Wars universe and he's a very interesting character, so explore him!
