Rating: Summary: skeet Review: At the beginning of this book, I was very interested. I couldn't wait to figure out what happened, and some of the plot twists were interesting. But then it seemed that Radford got too interested in the little love story and not interested enough in the plot. The two male characters became less and less distinguishable as the story progressed and so did the way the magic worked. The book should have been under "Romance" not "Fantacy/Sci-fi."

Rating: Summary: see through the looking glass Review: I enjoyed this novel. I love to read fantasy novels and when I purchased this novel I was unsure of what to expect. When I read the novel I was pleasantly surprised, it is the type of book that when you pick it up it is hard to put down. I read it in two day and by the time I finished I could hardly wait for the sequels. Granted, there are some flaws with the novel (some weak scenes etc.), however you do get flaws in just about anything; look past the flaws to the things that you enjoy and entertain you and you will be entertained. Besides why do we, the general masses, read? We read to be entertained, so read to be entertained, not to find the flaws. I had a hard time deciding which of the three novels I enjoyed more. My advice, just read it, you will be entertained.
Rating: Summary: Not my favorite, but worth a look Review: I love dragons. That is what drew me to buy this book. The idea of the story is a really great one. I don't disagree with that. I just feel that the writing wasn't that fantastic. The characters are a little underdeveloped and they are too much alike. If I start reading a series, I usually buy all the books in it, but in this case I might make a trip to the library....
Rating: Summary: A wonderful fantasy, I couldn't put it down! Review: I love fantasy novels and this was a wonderful one to read. I could not put the book down. Once I was done reading I lent it to one of my friends, again she read right through the story. Once I finished The Glass Dragon I had to go and buy the rest of the Dragon Nimbus series so I could see how everything ended up.
Rating: Summary: A great book Review: I loved this book. The author wrote so beautifuly this tale fantasy, love and adventure. I really felt the characters hearts aching as my own heart ached to save them when they were in trouble. I am now almost finished with the third book in the series and I planning to read the histories. I recommend this book to anyone that likes fantasy, science fiction or just likes to read a good story.
Rating: Summary: Personalities need changes.. o-o Review: I picked this book up at a used book store a while ago because it sounded interesting, a few days later I started it and was d one in three days. I enjoyed the book and its twists, but there were some things that I did not like. To start out I definitely did not like the names, though they fit the characters they just weren't names I liked, my least favorite being Jaylor. Also, the characters personalities were interesting at first, but as the book went on they made decisions and statements I couldn't relate to. My least favorite personality being Darville, he was too typical, and maybe he was supposed to be.. but he had a most unattractive personality in my eyes. The plot of the book and being left hanging are what makes me want to continue the series... I just recently bought "The Perfect Princess" and I hope its at least as good, if not better, but somehow I doubt that it will be. It seems to be almost entirely about Darville...
Rating: Summary: Well worth the read Review: I thought this book was very good, though I've read better. I did, however, loose quite a few hours of sleep reading it. I particularily liked the sections of thought of "the evil one." I think it would have been better if the romantic and sexual aspects of the novel were toned down a bit, but they didn't deteriate the basis of the story-line. I wasn't, however, thrilled with the ending. (For the soul reason that I just finished the book last night and won't get the next book for 3-7 business days and have been left hanging.) I would, and have, reccomend this book to anyone interested in fantasy, dragons, sci-fi, and, perhaps, romance.
