Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: All I have to say that Aurian is a very compelling Epic, I believe it is a must read book!!! The tale is so captivating that you will not stop reading it til you are done.
Rating: Summary: I wish I was her Review: Usually when I read a fantasy book so exceptional, filled with excitement and page turning momentum, it has two authors that make it so good. But this book is just as good, if not, better with it's single author. It makes me want to read it over and over again. Aurian inspired me so much that I have made a pledge to name my first daughter after her.
Rating: Summary: It was a completely incredible book! Review: I loved the books intense detail and the fact that I couldn't put the book down! It was a captivating and compelling story. I'm currently reading the rest the series, and I like it just as much.

Rating: Summary: Captivating read by an accessible author Review: I read this book in record time (for me) and I'm not a series reader, but I'm getting the sequel tonight in anticipation of finishing "Aurian". Maggie Furey is a wonderful writer, and while the book was very "put down-able", I was completely elsewhere when reading it. The characters became very familiar and endearing, and the action kept the plot moving along at a nice pace. This is my personal idea of what fantasy should be.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic and fast paced. Review: Aurian was action packed with twists and turns you would never think of. Also for the romantic at heart it has a little bit of romance in it. It is one of the best books I have gotten in a long time.
Rating: Summary: This book is great! Review: I recommend this book to all fantasy readers, because of high-quality writing and a vivid storyline by Maggie Furey. This book is certainly a page-turner. You never know what will happen next, and everything you think is going to happen usually never does.
Rating: Summary: Good light read Review: This wasn't fantasy at its worst by any means - interesting, well-developed characters, a good plot and a nice break from your typical epic. On the other hand, it is a fantasy epic, with a plethora of overpowered characters, and lacks the morals that make a Lloyd Alexander book work well. Serves as a good page-turning light read, but don't expect depth or shades of grey. Melodrama about as good as it comes though.
Rating: Summary: It was a detailed, fantastic book that I couldn't put down! Review: Aurian was described so vividly and wonderfully that it was the hardest book to put down. The way Maggie uses her words in this book is just great.
Rating: Summary: An incredible, original story! Review: Wow. That's one word I can describe this book in... I was only 14 when I first started reading it, and never really into fantasy books. Aftering reading the first few chapters of this book I fell in love with Aurian, and her many companions that joined her along the way. I only wish that the author creates more stories with Aurian or her companions (IE Forral's history as a swordsman or something...)
