Summary: Interesting and Different
Review: For all Dr. Stowel's flaws, you find yourself empathising with him and his attempts to get himself out of his self inflicted plight. In addition, the alien race is fascinating and well thought out. Definitely worth picking up!

Summary: Mmm...time travel
Review: If you're a fan of science fiction in general and time travel stories in particular, get yourself in on this interesting take on a familiar, much-loved theme. An imaginative and unique tale of one man's ambition to manipulate time, and the bizarre (possibly terrible) consequences which result. Check it out.

Summary: great read!
Review: Knapp's book is a great read -- I recommend it for science fiction fans looking for something new!

Summary: Nothing spectacular
Review: Not the worst thing I ever read, but I can't say I was too impressed either. If you overlook the grammatical and spelling errors, you'll find a science fiction story that seems to want to be taken very seriously, but at the same time is based on such a ludicrous premise that it's just impossible to do so. The primary character of Trenton Stowel is the centerpiece of the story, and I wanted to like him but I just didn't find him all that engaging (at one point in the story his mysterious interviewer tells Stowel, and by proxy the reader, that Stowel is 'definitely very interesting'; I'm glad at least the other characters thought so, but stating it outright don't make it so). Again, not the worst thing I've ever read, but amateurish in both content and presentation, and certainly not worth it's relatively large price tag.

Summary: Clever and Surprising
Review: Picked this book up on the recomendation of an old friend. It had been a few years since I had read a lot of science fiction, but I really enjoyed this book. The story develops really well, and it gives you different ideas to think about.

Highly recomended.

Summary: A Phenomemonal Novel
Review: This story is incredibly different from any other science fiction out there! It's a brilliant, enrapturing tale that is very well thought out, with every detail clicking into place by the end!

Summary: Brilliant!
Review: What a delight this book was! It really focused more on Dr. Trenton's alien encounter than on time travel mechanics. A quirky scientist, who had been prominent in time travel research when he disappeared 20 years ago, suddenly reappears and is placed in a government facility for treatment and evaluation. The book is written in interview form, as a psychiatrist tries to help him remember and recount what happened when he used his time machine. Through miscalculation and lack of understanding of the nature of time, he ended up stranded on a strange planet. This sounds silly, but somehow it is presented so well that it's almost believable. It is most certainly entertaining. This author is obviously highly imaginative and immensely creative. If you enjoy time travel stories, you'll find this one breaks the mold. I recommend it highly for those who enjoy an imaginary jaunt through both space and time, and who are not afraid to meet an alien who is not so alien once you get to know him!
