Summary: Transformation
Review: This is the third book in the Wter Trilogy series. In this book, Nia and corwin set out to once and for all defeat Ma'el and save Atlantis. I liked most to the book, it was very exciting. The one thing I absolutely hated was the ending, It stunk. But other than that, it was really good.

Summary: A Sweet Yet Sad End to the Atlantis Story
Review: This series was sooooooooo good! I could not put it down! I have had this 'thing' with mermaids and Atlantis and this series made me like them even more! This book is about Corwin and Nia and how they must defeat and evil, power hungry mermiad Avatar called Ma'el. But to get to him they must defeat the kraken. To defeat the kraken one of them must sacrifice all their life energy to the other, but neither of them wants the other to give their life, so they leave it to Eikis Calli Werr to decide. Eikis Calli Werr picks Nia, so she sacrifices herself and allows Cowin to defeat the kraken and Ma'el once and for all. Nia must be placed in the lake if she has any chance of surviving, so Corwin runs to the lake and wades in. He places Eikis Calli Werr ontop of Nia and asks the sword to help her and preserve her. Then he pushes her and Nia floats to the middle of the lake and slowly sinks to the bottom. Many years pass and Corwin is now called Merlin. He brings King Arthur to the lake where Nia lies and hopes his feeling is right about King Arthur. If it is then King Arthur will be the king who will bring peace to the land. The two stand by the lake and wait for the Lady of the Lake to rise. Merlin is so happy when she rises that he starts to cry because the Lady of the Lake is Nia and she is offering the sword to King Arthur. I was so into this book, I cried when Nia sacrificed herself.

Summary: Transformation Review
Review: Transformation is a good book. It takes many unexpected turns in the book. In the beginning, Gobaith and Nia help Corwin get gills so they can go to Atlantis. They meey Callimar down there, and they see that everything has gone chaos. They go to get allies who have been put in dry rooms by Ma'el. They also get the sword before they are forced back on land again. Nia puts all her energy to help defeat the kraken. Then Corwin turns into the kraken and defeats Ma'el. But Nia has no energy left. So Corwin has to push Nia into the lake with the sword on top of her. About 52 years later, Corwin, now called Merlin comes with King Arthur to the pond, now a lake, to see if he is the ruler destined for this sword. Then Nia surfaced and floated over to them and gave King Arthur the sword. I found the ending to be a bit sad, but sweet also.

Summary: Why did it have to end like that?
Review: Why did Kara decide to end the book(s) the way she did? i didnt' really like the ending though i thought the beginning of the book was pretty good. one of the sad parts is when Callimar betrays Nia for Ma'el! i REALLY didn't like that. i also kinda liked the ending. but.... i don't know. it's just to sad. and it feels like it stopped short for some reason. i don't know why, but it feels that way. :(
