Review: THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ROMANTIC NOVELS YOU WILL EVER READ. The elements in this book are so ecstatically satisfying, you will be weeeping with pleasure and joy and incredulity the first time you read Dougless & Nicholas' story. Their story is so sweet and compelling and fantastical, that you will weep again when you finish the book because you are so sad that it ended. It would be a SHAME to never have known Dougless and her knight in shining armor - so PLEASE, go out & get this book & read it!!! 200+ other readers cannot all be wrong about this book, can they? (and having read quite a few romantic books, i'd have to say this book has to be in the TOP FIVE as far as sex goes - oh my god, mind bending HOT!)

Summary: My favorite romantic novel.
Review: I normally do not read books a second or third time, but this book I have read dozens of times. It is the most romantic tale of star and time crossed love. It gives you the feeling that "Love" conquers all. It leaves you feeling happy and with hope. The book is so compelling, it is hard to put down even if you've already read it. I really wish they would make this into a movie. I can see Brendan Fraser in the starring role as the "Knight"I highly recommend giving this book a chance. You won't regret it.

Review: Well I just finished this book and I have to say that it is wonderful. I found myself so into the story that I could not put it down till it was finished. The underlying theme really touched my heart and the ending reinforced the message the auther was trying to convey all along. True love knows no restrictions. Not even time could keep two kindered souls apart.

Review: I have been wanting to read this one for so long, I finally did. Jude Deveraux writes the most amazing time travel romances ever. I didn't want this book to end. That Dougless gets her Knight in Shining Armor is so wondeful. After all, isn't that what all women want. This is not a sappy, cheesy love story. It is beautifully written and touches your heart. As another reviewer said, I wish Jude Deveraux would write another novel on Dougless and Nicholas. Don't miss reading this. It is a dream. I loved it!

Summary: Wondeful Story, Horrible Ending
Review: This was a wonderful book, however the ending was very disappointing. If you like happy endings this is not the book to read. The entire book is their struggle to remain together, to cheat time, but in the end no matter how much they love each other, it was just not meant to be. This was a wonderful book by Jude Deveraux to read and one day I hope she will continue Nicholas and Dougless's story in a second book.

Review: A pleasant surprise and an interesting read. Douglas finds herself stranded in England after she parts ways with her far from perfect boyfriend and his whiney daughter. Little does she know but her tears will summon an Elizabethan Earl from the year 1564. Our plucky protagonist is about to show the Earl what a modern girl is all about, and he is about to find the kind of love and devotion that only happens once in a lifetime. Deveraux writes an entertaining yet predictable story that will keep you interested till the end for the sheer enjoyment of the characters she has created and the clash of two centuries. Another book by this author that I really enjoyed is THE SUMMERHOUSE. Kelsana 5/021/02

Review: Jude Deveraux is the epitome of romance! This book just made you want to go out and fall in love! If only there were more men like that! I can't say enough wonderful things about this book! Definitely need to get a copy to keep!

Review: I loved this story. It is the best romance book that I have ever read! Time Travel and Romance, and Humor this story has it all. I laughed and Cried. This story has so much to offer and it is incredibly touching. The characters are likeable and I really did not want the story to end. If you can get your hands on any version of this story. It would be well worth the effort!
