Rating: Summary: I was very dissappointed Review: I love all of Jude Deveraux's books and I am her number one fan. I started reading this book and I just couldn't get into it because it was just so unbelievable. I kept reading it and finally just quit. It was boring and dissappointing. I read all the great reviews on it and got all excited so I went straight to the library to get it. Do not read this book if you like books that are half-way believable.
Rating: Summary: I love this book, I couldn't put it down!!! Review: This was my first Jude D. book, and i couldn't believe how good it was. The book was interesting and exciting from beginning to end. I would recommend this book to anyone. Men or women. Parts of the story will make you laugh. Other parts will make you cry. It truly is one of the greatest books I've ever read!
Rating: Summary: An absolute winner!!! Review: I love the story. It makes me want to cry and ask for my own "knight in shining armor" (I hope he'll be as good looking as Nicholas).
Rating: Summary: It really expressed the limitless boundaries of love Review: I thought it was very romantic and realistic, even though it deals with time travel, which I don't usually choose to read about. I found it interesting the way that Nicholas Stafford and Dougless travelled into each other's time in order to clear Nicholas' reputation from being a womanizer and sleazy. It had a great plot.
Rating: Summary: there are no words to describe how wonderful this book was!! Review: it was amazing!!!!!!! this book was so wonderfully mysterious, romantic, and heart-wrenchingly sad, that there are no words to describe what it did to me. i read the entire book in one night, and a few months later i read the whole book again, in one night! and i am 12 years old! i have always been a huge reader, so i have read hundreds of good books, but nothing could top this one! i have really mature taste for my age, so don't think that because i am 12, that this is some kids book. because it's definately not! i am really grateful to jude deveraux for writing this book. if she ever reads this, thank you jude deveraux!!! to anyone who comes to this site, read this book, PLEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Made me want to read all Jude's book. Review: this was the first jude deveraux book and i have been hooked ever since. i have to admit, though, that this is my all time favorite.currently, i am reading 'the princess'.. so far, it's great. ;o)
Rating: Summary: A Love Story for All Time Review: Not being a avid romance reader, I was thouroughly suprised by this book. By far one of the best books I have ever read! The characters and plot of A Knight is Shining Armor pull you in and do not let go! Words cannot explain the depth of love portrayed in this book. It is a timeless story of how true love endures all things, even time. It truly has the makings of such epics like Titanic ( it would be extraordinary as a movie). This book makes you laugh and cry, and you will not be able to put it down once you have begun. Truly entertaining: it will break your heart and touch your soul. A must for readers of all types!!!! EVEN MEN!
Rating: Summary: Takes my breath away Review: I had read this book years ago and wanted to read it again, but wasn't sure of the title. My best friend gave me a Jude D book for Christmas and the author's name sounded familiar. So one day while shopping at a thrift shop I came across Knight in Shining Armour and figured for the $ why not see if it was the book I had been looking for. Well I was ecstatic when I started reading and realized it was in fact the book I had been searching for. It is difficult to try and put into words how wonderful this book is. I love the medieval times and Europe and this books gives me the best of both worlds (modern Europe and medieval). The way Jude writes about her characters is so real, I can put myself right in their place and I wanted to. I laughed, cried, felt the desperation, and the ectasy of finding that right person. This is the first time I have ever read a book and gone searching for it years later to read again. If you like historical romance, you will LOVE this book!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: A Story you don't want to end Review: This was my first Jude Deveraux book and I absolutely loved it. I could not put it down. It was the most exciting love story that I have ever read. Every woman would love to have a "Nicholas Stafford" in their lives. It broke my heart that the couple didn't stay together in the end. This romantic story will make you laugh as well as cry. The vivid descriptions of how things were done in the 16th century is amazing. I normally won't read books that involve time travel, but I am so glad that I read this one. The only thing I didn't like about this book, was that it ended. If you never read another romance book in your life, please don't miss the chance to read this one. I have yet to read a book that touched my heart as deeply as this one. I first checked this book out from the library, but I had to go and buy it for myself. Every time I see it in the book shelf, I take it out and go back in time.
Rating: Summary: An emotional experience Review: I am amazed how this book affected me. I have not felt this way since seeing the Titanic. After I finished reading it, I went to work in a fog, feeling so miserable. I had hoped Nicholas could travel across time to be with her, not his re-incarnated soul. I usually only read historical romances and I was very hesitant about reading a modern/historical novel, but I am sooo glad I did. Except for the ending, the book was a masterpiece.
