Summary: Big B 10's review
Review: At first i thought this book was going to be corny as heck. Who wouldn't, the animals talk. When I picked the book up though, I couldn't put it down (even in school) for the time that I read it. It's slow at first but after the first few pages it was the exact opposite. You might need to learn about deer first because there are some weird words like tines or something and there is no glossary. It is about deer and a prophecy and that's all I'll tell you because I might give something away

P.S. Rannoch is the main character
P.S.S. It's in Scotland
P.S.S.S. Read his other book the sight too, it's really good

Summary: Fire Bringer
Review: Fire Bringer in my opinion is an outstanding novel with a wonderful plot. It moves you along when you read it and is hard to put down! In short it's about an evil stag who overthrows all leaders within the herd by force, murders ruthlessly and has a thirst for power. The only thing that stands in his way is a young fawn set apart by his birthmark and an ancient prophcey amoung the deer. In the final battle beetween good and evil who will triumph? You can only see when you read this novel. This gripping tale of good or evil with a slight twist to it. There are no guns, no armor, this is amoung the deer.

Summary: A Brief Review on Fire Bringer
Review: I absolutely loved this book! I usually don't like long books, but I couldn't put this one down. It was with me everywhere I went. It made me cry when characters like Blindweed and Eloin and Bracken died. It made me nod and shout encouragement to the characters at the climaxes. My all-time favorite characters were Rannoch, Willow, Blindweed, and Eloin. I knid of liked Crak too. I also liked the wolf. Thsi book not only suggests a great power of life and nature, but also friendship and bravery. I would reccomend this book to just about anyone, unless they are close- minded freaks who demand perfection. (our english teacher) If you just let go and open your mind, you can get lost in this book and never find a way out. The ending pulls out your heart and drops it on the floor so you want more. This book met my every need. Any one who doesn't like it has to be smoking something!
Oh- and Sgorr kind of reminded me of someone- a shrimp at school- a nasty little shrimp at school- who likes me-
and I feel alot like Eloin. So, also, I had an earful of meteora while I read. I think my mood for this book is set. It's defenitely going to be part of my collection. If I can find it in hardcover, I'll get it! In short terms, this is probably the best book I've ever read. They may change if I ever read another one of this author's books! If so, I just can't wait. PEACE

Summary: The Best Animal Fantasy Out There
Review: Fire Bringer is one of the best books I have ever read. The story starts out slow at first, but by the second or third chapter its almost impossible to stop reading. The theme of the story is very dark though. I don't think there was a single chapter without somebody dying, so bring a box of tissues. The end is also kind of deppressing, but over all Fire Bringer is a must-read. This is just one of those books that keeps you thinking after you've read it.

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: This book is fantastic! It's about the wild, mainly deer, and difficult times. Bad things are happening within the hera(deer), and only the one who fulfills the prophecy may help. I have never read such a good animal book, and there are no words that can describe how great this book is. After i finished it (and before i read 'The Sight'), i was very depressed. I felt that no book could compare to this one. I give it thumbs up, and i am waiting unpatiently for David Clement-Davies to release his next book.

If you liked 'Firebringer', you will love 'The Sight' as well.

Summary: Fired Tale
Review: Fire bringer is a truely well writen anthropomorphic tale centering on the deer in Scottland. They have been lead astray by a poor leader and have a prophecy predicting a deer with a leaf of oaken to lead them back to the way of Herne. The book is weel done with several unexpected twists. I would recommend this to any fantasy reader.

Summary: One in a million
Review: This book was wonderful, in my opinion. If you like stories with an animals point of view, this is the book for you. It kept me interested the entire time.
I live in Colorado so I constantly observe deer, elk, etc. and wonder what their world could be like. Well, this is a wonderful way to see from the animals point of view.
It is about a deer who's coming is fore told in a prophecy that will overthrow an evil lord who's evil reign is affecting all of Scotland. Well, Rannoch is that deer (a red deer to be exact) and the story of his journey through his life is amazing and interesting. A must-read!

Summary: An Instant Anthropomorphic Classic
Review: WOW. I got Firebringer for Christmas 2 years ago, and I make it a point to reread it every month. This book is SO GOOD. I was outraged when I asked many of my friends if they had read it- they hadn't. So I leant it to them all, and EVERY SINGLE ONE (even my friend who doesnt like to read) loved it. The storylinr is a bit hard to explain- Rannoch is basically a deer savior. He is chased from his herd ("driven by anger, fear, and hate") and learns a lot about his world and uses that knowledge in the end to defeat the tyrannous Sgorr and win freedom for deer everywhere. The characters are amazing- the depth is incredible, the descriptions are breath taking, and the entire book is a page turner. Anyone who liked Watership Down will love this- Firebringer has many similarites. Use your head and BUY THIS BOOK!!!!!!
