Summary: Anakin meets Lord Maul
Review: I loved it,every part.Everything Anakin went through I felt,
what I'm trying to say is: when I was reading it I became Anakin.
So,what happened to him happened to me too! My favorite part was
when Anakin went into the cave, and at the end Obi-Wan came in and
told him to go into a trance. After that,he found out that Obi-Wan
really wasn't Obi-Wan!Of course,he figured that out when Obi-Wan
started to grow horns and his face changed to the unique warrior marks.Wich meant that he,all along, was really Darth Maul.Anakin and Maul battled then Lord Maul just disappeared! And that's my favorite part.
From:
Lord Vader

Summary: Awesome to See Ani and Obi-Wan In Action!
Review: I think Jude Watson really did an awesome job with the Jedi Quest books. It shows the bond between Anakin and Obi-Wan and shows off their incredible Jedi skills. It depicts the characters very well.

Summary: Good Read
Review: I think this is definitely a book worth reading. I am a big fan of the Jedi Apprentice books and this book is nearly as good. It makes you wonder and gives you a little more insight into Anakin's personality while we wait for Episodes II and III. I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in Star Wars or even simply an interest in scifi. A good book all around and one you won't put down 'til you're done!

Summary: Not up to Jude watson's usual standards
Review: I was very excited when this book came out, expecting a Jedi Apprentice-like story, and found this story to be extremely disappointing. Perhaps it is partly because I can't stand the character of Anakin Skywalker, but there are many other points to this book I found severely lacking. Obi-Wan appears completely unchanged from Qui-Gon's death, and Anakin is still a pain in the rear end. There is very little plot, and most of what there is can be seen through very quickly. I tryed to tell myself maybe it seemed better to a younger audience, but when I purchased it for my nine-year-old friend she couldn't even finish it, and she loves the Jedi Apprentice novels. It's shallow and insulting to your intelligence. Obi-Wan's character seems much colder from the Obi-Wan we know, and Anakin is just plain juvenile. The beginning, where Anakin is building his sightsaber is pretty cool though. All in all, I think Jude Watson would do better to stick with the Jedi Apprentice novels.

Summary: The first I've read and I loved it
Review: I'm a fan of the Star Wars movies but this is the first book I've read. I actually got it as a book to read out loud tomy 9 year old son. But, I have to say I also very much enjoyed the book. It covers part of the time between Episodes 1 and 2. It was simple enough for a read aloud book but had enough informationto keep me interested. I also liked how some things from the book tied into Episode 2 when it came out. The book shows Obu-Wan dealing with the loss of Qui-Gon but more importantly shows Ani's tendincy towards the dark side and how he hides it.

Summary: This Is Not Right
Review: If you have read, "The Jedi Apprentice" series, then you have already read the vast majority of this book. This is the second installment of the, "Jedi Quest" series, and if this is the direction the story arc will take, be prepared for slight makeovers of previous books. The difference is Obi-Wan is leading not following, and Anakin is where Obi-Wan once was.

There are a variety of experiences that are common to Jedi training, but they have hardly all been explored in Jude Watson's books. So in this second installment of her new work she takes you back to a familiar planet, for the same reasons she brought readers there before. Once there the same natural predators will be fought, with one new issue raised which is uncompleted, unjustified, and unexplained.

Readers deserve better than re-written versions of books they likely have read and own. Hopefully this is the exception and not the rule.

Summary: Quality science fiction entertainment
Review: Jedi Quest: The Trail Of The Jedi is an unabridged part of the expanding library audiobooks to the delight of legions of Star Wars fans. Anakin Skywalker was made a padowan (apprentice) to the Jedi Knighthood by Qui-Gon Jinn. But with the death of Qui-Gon Jinn, Anakin Skywalker is taken under the tutelage of Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi -- who fears he may not be able to succeed at being as good a Jedi Master for young Anakin Skywalker as was Qui-Gon Jinn. This is the background to an adventure that includes striving to survive a squad ruthless and competitive bounty hunters seeking to ensnare the Jedi's while on a training exercise with their colleagues on a strange planet far from help. Jonathan Davis superbly narrates Jude Watson's original story and provides not only 2 hours and 38 minutes of "theater of the mind" style quality science fiction entertainment, but adds substantially to the growing body of lore and legend that comprises the Star Wars universe. Also enthusiastically recommended is another superbly recorded, fully unabridged, Star Wars audio book written by Jude Watson and narrated by Jonathan Davis: Jedi Quest: The Way Of The Apprentice.

Summary: Finally! The inside scoop!
Review: Okay, this book was really good and I really enjoyed it. Even though I know Anakin turns I found I can kinda relate 2 him. He is pretty impaintent and adventureous (Like me). I was glad that this book did give the scoop about what happened to Anakin inbetween the movies (I wonder if this book wll efect him in Episode 2?). I don't want to tell much about the actual book because I really don't want to ruin it 4 other people so I will just say one thing about it. The basic storyline is Anakin and Obi-Wan mst find this Slave Raider (Kyran). But when Anakin remembers his past (being a slave and having one of his friends mother taken by him) he gets angry and while on his ship takes off. Obi-Wan is forced to leave. So here is a cliffhanger 4 ou so read the book!

Summary: An Excellent Addition to the Star Wars Novel Universe
Review: The time between Episodes 1 and 2 has left us with a space of ten years to dream up Anakin's life as a Jedi Padawan. In this new novel, Jude Watson does a good job of showing how the slave boy from Tatooine grows up to be Darth Vader. But I enjoyed this book, as it gave me insight into his training and shows that he does have darker tendencies. Jedi Quest also shows how Obi-Wan Kenobi fights to ease his inner turmoil around loosing his Master, while trying to train a boy who has inner turmoil of his own. I have read all the Star Wars books, but I think that this is one of the most interesting books, and Ms. Watson's style is one that the readers can relate to. I highly recommend Jedi Quest for anyone looking for a good read, even if you don't like Star Wars.

Also recommended: Star Wars Rogue Planet, the Jedi Apprentice series, and Deceptions, the Jedi Apprentice Super Edition.
