Rating: Summary: Book with twists and turns that can never be predicted. Review: I'm sixteen, and this book was a favorite. Hinting at the plot line never actually lets you know what's going to happen. And when you have the feeling that you know, it doesn't matter, for you want to read the way that this magnificent author put it together anyway.
Rating: Summary: Best in the series so far, but far from perfect Review: Reading all of the reviews so far for this book you'd think it was the greatest fantasy ever written. Well, I'm here to tell the truth . . . It's a good read, but could have been better. I found elements of the plot shallow, and often only a semi-tangible relationship the game. A problem which gets worse as the series goes on. I am a serious magic player, and therefore am very critical of a work such as this. In closing though, for the price of a paperback, it's worth the read . . . just don't expect greatness.
Rating: Summary: "A Real Page Turner!!!" Review: As a Magic: The Gathering (a card game) player I can tell you first hand that the books add a real back ground to the game. Arena gives you fast paste action, while leaving a dark question, who is the one eyed man? If you like Magic or just wanting something new, Arena is just what your looking for. When in the world of magic, imagination is the only limit!
Rating: Summary: MOST DETAILED BOOK EVER READ Review: If you like Magic:the Gathering card(like me) you will love this book, even you don't like them pick up a copy. The book was so awsome, usually a book takes me a couple of week but this one only took me a couple days to read. The book is full of so much detail it's amazing.
Rating: Summary: best book I've read Review: I first tried to read one of the magic books Dark Legacy but I couldn't get into it. Then I started the game which got me excited. Then I showed my friend and he gave me this book and I couldn't put it down. It is deffinately on eof the best books I have ever read.
Rating: Summary: AMAZING Review: THE Author goes into so much detail. You learn the importance of the spells (if you play Magic). Even if you don't play magic it is a great book to read.
Rating: Summary: Page Turner Review: I have bought this book, and I swear to you, 3 times, because I wore the pages down! I am not lying. That is how good this book is! Forstchen is a genius. His ability to portray Garth led to the best character since Huck Finn. This is truly a great book, and my only question would be when will the movie come out? It is that good a book.
Rating: Summary: WOW! Review: I have read this book 20+ times, and have done numerous English assignments on it. Let me tell you, this is the greatest book ever written. I would take a bullet for Forstchen. The story never stops, it is beyond words. I suggest it to anyone, and when you are finished, (usually a day and a half later) you can e-mail me, thanking me. Till then, so long. Brett Banfe, 10th Grade, Haddonfield Memorial High School.
Rating: Summary: Action-packed and funny throughout Review: This is one of the best books I've ever read. It combines comedy, action, suspence, and even a little bit of romance. For those that know the story and cards to Magic (such as myself), this book is even better for it contains great spells, action, and descriptions.
Rating: Summary: one of the best book i ever read Review: This book is is great. For once I found a book that I could not put down. It has great detail on what is happening and nonstop action through the whole book.
