Summary: A Spellbinder
Review: The book was a great spellbinder, as soon as you begin to fall in love with characters your automatically hooked. The book is a little slow in the beginning but after that it will have you at the edge of your seat. The characters each have their own past and their own little story. Especially the main character Garth, his life and his motive is so surrounded in darkness and mystery that it creates the perfect suspense. The plot is so intriguing that I'll have you believing in magic. The whole idea of people who can use that art and compete against each other is outstanding. The ending has a huge twist that will have you asking for more. This book was a great book I would recommend it to anyone. I would like to close with "there's a little bit of magic in all of us."

Summary: best I have ever read, and I don't give that easily
Review: I have read this book three times and now I have to buy it again because of all the wear and tear that it has gone through. You can read this book over and over and not get tired, as you can with many books of lesser quality. It was exciting and touching. Even if you don't buy it, find someway to get it because you will have a great time.

Summary: Great Book, Enjoyable and Quick and Easy Reading.
Review: I really enjoyed this book, a whole lot. It captured myattention right from the begining, and I didn't want to put itdown. It gave a great discription of the fights and the spells being used during those fights, it was like watching a movie. I also liked how it got into the political side of Magic: The Gathering, it was just all fighting. I also loved all the characters throught the book, the antagonist and protagonist, they were all equally intriging. This was a great book and a must read for any Magic or plan old fantasy fan.

Summary: What an incredible book!
Review: This book has it all: action, romance, great charecters, great plot, some well-placed humor, good comic relief charecters (the big fighter and the begger.) I read this book in one night; I couldn't put it down. I just wish the author would write more! 5 Stars, and at this price, there is no reason not buy it!

Summary: The book had an extremely good plot and amazing details.
Review: This is one of the greatest books, if not the greatest, in the Magic: The Gathering series. The details of the battle scenes and plot lines were exsquisite, and the storyline left few loose ends to keep you thinking. The magic system is unlike any other type I've seen before, and the idea of the Arena is very cool. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!

Summary: this, i belive to be the greatest book ever,
Review: This book revolves around GArth "ONE-EYE" who is a hannin who comes for Revenge. I dont know much about Magic the Gathering the card game but really you dont need to know anything about the game to understand the book. Perhaps not quite as completly as if you did play the game but you understand it non the less. GArth meets somew new friends and some old enemy. GArth has a plan from the start and you'll find it was a great one.

Summary: Nothing is better...
Review: This is one of the greatest books of all time. I am kind of like Garth. I play magic the gathering often, and stick to the "old school" cards. nothing in my deck is newer than Alliances, and thats just 4 cards! All of my mana is in Revised, as well as most of my cards. I am also a Hanin (better than joining people...I am a leader not a follower) as I challenge whole houses in my league (5 houses), with the average house having 5 people. I am so powerful that I could become the Grand Master (level 10 with new cards), but am not willing to be a servant of our Walker...a guy who lives for magic and nothing else (has every set!!! Even Alpha, Beta, Legends, Arabian Nights, everything!!!!!!!)...I am a 11th Rank pretty hard to get, but even if Garth was real he would still smoke me!!! In my opinion this book is "da BOMB" as it explains everything in detail, every spell, every move, every breath... You don't need to know how to play magic to understand this book. All in all this book should be given a 10 at least!!! Nothing is better NOTHING!!!
