Summary: goooooooood!!!!!!
Review: how can you say this book wasnt good? it was great! although i do agree that they should have said more about JABBA, but it still was much better than tales of the bounty hunters.another of the very few bad things about this book ias that it says stuff about events in the films but adds no details.

Summary: Credit for the new perspective
Review: I like the way the stories were wound around the plot of the original movie. If you like this I suggest two non-SW anthologies: The Best of Fantasy and Science Fiction: 50th year edition. Best stories from the last five years of the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction (including one by Esther Friesner, writer of Salacious Crumb's Tale). Flatlander by Larry Niven- Six tales by one of the best writers of space adventure each starring his ironic hero Beowulf Shaeffer in his famous Known Space series.

Or these magazines- Amazing Stories- Prints Star Trek and Star Wars stories along with original stories by such writers as Orson Scott Card, Robert Silverburg, and Ursula K. Le Guin. Asimov's Science Fiction- One of the best sources of short science fiction stories out there. From high space adventure to cyberpunk to short moving tales of human beings faced with the impossible this has all the genre can offer plus the occasional fantasy.

Fantasy and Science Fiction- The best fiction magazine ever. It has published writers as varied as Arthur C. Clarke to Esther Friesner to Ray Bradbury to Harlan Ellison to Gene Wolfe to Stephen King to Joyce Carol Oates. It contiues to bring us these writers with new up and comers.

Science Fiction Age- Articles on books, movies, TV, and games with a good deal of the best short fiction out there.

Summary: Some good; some bad; most in between
Review: I liked many tales, especially Sleight of Hand, A Time to Mourn; A Time to Dance and Of the Days Annoyances. However there were two tales that did not please me. They were Shaara and the Sarlacc and Let Us Prey. All the others were fairly good and the "name" authors did not dissapoint.

Summary: Great book!
Review: I liked this book a lot. My favorite tales were Old friends, a boy and his monster, and of the days annoyances. I didn't really like That's entertainment, tasters choice and goatgrass. Other than that, it's great! I think it's hilarious when the weequays turn to the plastic quay for serious information!

Summary: Who knows what goes on in the palace...
Review: I read this one following Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina, and found it to be quite enjoyable. This collection of tales covers the characters surrounding Jabba's palace: how they came to be there, what their vested interests were, what scams or plots they were running on whom, etc. A wonderful group of nasty villians and creepy fiends make up these stories, all written by very talented authors. I enjoyed this tremendously and it was a refreshing new look and a great series of SF. Any Star Wars fan will enjoy this one, as well as the Mos Eisley tales.

Summary: Well written novel.
Review: I think this book was very enjoyable and well thought up by these 19 authors that helped make this book a real success and an enjoyable read.

Summary: a brilliant book
Review: I thouroughley enjoyed this book, it was extremely well written and all of the stories had the same coresponding events. A brilliant display of character thoughts, actions, and past. All of these authors have written one big lump story about over 10 people in different points of veiw which makes this book very well written.

Summary: A "where are they now" type book. Not bad.
Review: I was really surprised how well written this book was by the different authors. Many characters you only saw in passing really come to life thanks to the creative minds of the sci-fi writers. For some reason the characters seems more alive than the other "Tales..." books from the SW universe. It's worth the reading time.

Summary: pretty good
Review: id say overall this book was pretty good. yet, i thought some stories should have gone into more detail, and some should have had less detail. this book had very little information on jabba himself, which i wanted to know. another thing that bothered me was that when your near the end of reading a characters story, they usually die. the boba fett story was one of the best although it had nothing to do with jabbas palace. a cool thing about the stories was thaat in all of them, the same little conspiracy involving that creepy vampire guy was going on, and in each characters story you get more information about whats going on.
