Summary: Left Behind
Review: This is an awesome book and series that aligns itself with the book of Revelation in the Bible. It brings the scriptures alive with a graphic depiction of what is to come. I have read all of the books in the series. I read the first four within two weeks and the subsequent ones with in four days. It is definitely a worthwhile read as well as a wake up call to those of us that are Christians and an effective witnessing tool to those who don't know or have not accepted Christ. I have been able to reach more people through the sharing of what they "perceive" as a "good" book and witness them into the kingdom of Christ. I honor God for Mr. Jenkins and Mr. LeHaye. In addition, there was an article in USA Today, that stated that profits from this series were going to charity. I applaud the authors commitment and motive to getting the gospel of Christ across cultures and denominations. I also purchased the children's series for my daughter, She absolutely loves them as well. Can't wait for the next book to come out!

Summary: If you're 'searching' - this book is for you!
Review: Have read all 6 books and I absolutely love them. I took the time to peruse other reviews and was particularly interested in the ones who ranked this book low. Most blasted the book because it seemed 1-sided and warned of fortelling prophesy. Keep in mind this book is a work of fiction. An accurate depiction of Revelation it may not be -- but then who can accurately interpret Revelation other than God Himself? This is just an interpretation so it may be flawed - but it's only fiction. The GOOD NEWS is this book reaches out to people who are walking the fence, who need to re-affirm their faith, who are searching for something but don't know what... this book is uplifting, inspiring, and will propel you to make some life changes and hopefully interest you enough to do your own bible study, discussions and further reading in search of your own beliefs. It is not a bible, it is not gospel and I don't think it's intended to be taken that way ... but it is an 'eye opener' and hopefully a 'heart opener' in search of spiritual peace and a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.

Summary: A+ for interest B for writing and C for female Characters
Review: These are great books. They are very interesting and keep your attention. The whole idea of the rapture and what being "left behind" would mean is intriguing!

I have read books that have much better writing, but the writing in these books is about average.

The female characters in these books are, well, what can I say, they're stupid. Even the one's that are supposed to be intellegent, they just come across as whiners and dense. I never thought I'd want a "good-guy" or "neutral" character to die, but Hattie has got to go! It is not believable that even the Saints of God would keep going after this woman...flying across the world to find her and help her over and over and over again risking their lives and the lives of others. It just seems like a filler. Please let her become a Christian and let her character die.

Over all this book has been very exciting. The character flaws and writing don't take away from these great books. These books are extremely thought provoking. When Christ comes for His church where will you be?

Summary: Left Behind #1
Review: Could hardly put the book down. Gives a lot of food for thought for Christians and non-Christians. Would recommend it to anyone and have told several friends.

Summary: Don't want to be "Left Behind"
Review: I just finished this book and I am starting Tribulation Force! Wow! This would make a great movie. At first I could not get the hang of it but once I got into it I was unable to put it down. Some people have written reviews saying they read a few pages and didn't like it, they need to read a few more. I felt God's presence while I was reading this book.

Summary: Left Behind
Review: Even though the authors take some liberties with the Book of Revelation "Left Behind" is an engrossing story of what could "possibly" happen during the end times. Of course they have to speculate, seeing as how no one (except God, Himself) knows for sure how and when this will take place. But the speculation is so realistic and well written that readers will question their own preparedness and want to see to their family's salvation issues. As long as we remember that this is a work of fiction, I would recommend this book to anyone who has a hard time understanding what the end times are all about. The authors follow scripture very closely and you can be sure non-believers (as well as believers) will be running to their bibles to check the accuracy of the book's statements. I enjoyed it tremendously, as well as the sequels.

Summary: The Worst Book Ever
Review: This book is ,without a doubt, the worst book I have ever read. If I could give it a negative rating, I would. It just reeks.First, neither Mr. Lahaye or Mr. Jenkins can write above the level of a three year old. Their depiction of female characters is attrocious, and offensive to all the women I know who have read it. In addition, the behavior of the charecters is ludicrous. Do you people actually believe that after half the worlds population disappears, we will all just return to our daily lives? Finally, the authors wouldn't know sublety if it slapped them in the face. They have no idea how to hint at a plot point or a charecter trait, they just come right out and say it. Sometimes that kind of straightforwardness helps get a point across, but it justs adds to the lists of Problems with this book. Do not, under any circumstances, bye this book.

Summary: A Masterpiece
Review: I read alot, but never have I read a book like this one. In every book I'd read up til this point, there was at least one part that I was tempted to skip. This is the first I've read in which that didn't happen. A marvel, this book should be on everyone's favorite book list.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Totally amazing
Review: This is a truly amazing book which shows from Scripture what will happen in the end times in book form. While some of it is fiction(the characters names, etc.) The basis it stands on it true.
