Summary: so many Christians?
Review: Is it just me or did anyone else think it was so odd that so many people disappeared from the Earth? While I never got a count, it seems it was a substantial number to cause so much chaos. however, by the guidelines the authors set forth to qualify as a real Christian, I seriously doubt more than 1 percent of the Earth would be welcomed into Jesus's loving arms.

Summary: Excellent Book!
Review: This is a very well written story from any point of view. The story grabs you from the first page and holds on untill you've read the last page, and didn't realize it. I would recomend this book to anyone who enjoys fiction and/or religion. The only reason anyone would slam this series is if it hit too close to home.

Summary: ..Interesting reading
Review: After noticing a friend reading "Tribulation Force"(Book 2 in the Left Behind Series) I decided to pick it up. I willadmit, I am not a religious person, and was prepared to "shut out" any religious overtones that I picked up in the book. But, to be honest, I was more pulled into the storyline of the book. Though slow at times and a bit too quick in other parts. I could see myself recommeneding the series to someone else. If you are interested in a thoughtout series, they this could be the one for you.

Summary: Love it!
Review: I've read all the books in the series (7 at this point) and have to say my life will never be the same again. Loved them so much that I even read "Left Behind, The Kids" series. Granted, the writing is not a 10, and I was a little irritated by how the females were portrayed but the books are still great and I can't wait to find out what happens with the characters. I read some of everything, by some of the "best" authors but nothing has ever induced me to reevaluate how and what I felt about GOD and this series has.

Summary: Left Behind (Left Behind #1)
Review: As a fictional novel, the book is interesting enough to finish, but here is the GIANT disclaimer for this novel : You will love this book if you are Protestant Christian and/or more of a fundamentalist Christian. If this criteria applies to you, please read this book, because you will not be able to put it down. If you are a member of a religion that is in direct contrast to the beliefs of the aforementioned types (ex., Mormon, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, etc.) you will most likely not enjoy this book because it preaches against your chosen faith. In other words, if you are a devout follower of any religion, you're going to have problems with the segments that are in direct opposition to your system of faith. And naturally, if you are a borderline atheist this novel will most likely not appeal to you. Now for the rest of us! (including me) A good read because the authors can get you into the action as a Grisham or Clancy would. Furthermore, because I am not whole-heartedly committed to any religion and I was raised in a theologically Christian home, it's always interesting to read a fictional interpretation of one of the best sections contained in the Bible - Revelations. I was hoping that the authors would not interpret Revelations too literally because of the meanings and syntax that unfortunately are lost with ancient text translations, but they did to a degree, and like I said earlier, more so of a conservative Protestant meaning. One of the problems I had with the book was when the authors attempted to interpret Revelations to the letter. An example is Israel being invaded by an army from the north. I felt that the country and entire situation the authors picked for this was a bit ridiculous and unrealistic which was a shame because it takes away from the mystique you can attract by reading a fictional Revelations. It is a decent book but I'm not sure if I will read the sequels. I would suggest that you at least read this one because it is the first in the series and decide if you feel it is worth it to purchase the other novels in the collection. Personally, I've read books that have made a greater spiritual impact on me. Some of the novel seemed to strike a chord in me of fundamentalist god-fearing Puritan type that has made me skeptical about the sincerity and truthfulness of some Christian segments. But like I mentioned earlier, if you are a believer in the theology image presented in this novel, I'm sure this book will have a definite impact on you. If you are not sure of where you stand in the spectrum of Christian ideology, I would suggest this novel, because you will at least come to a decision of whether or not you stand in the Protestant segment.

Summary: Read and Judge for yourself
Review: I have just finished LEFT BEHIND. I was interested in finding out how others felt about this same book, so I read other reviews. I finished this book in less than 24 hours. It was so compelling and fascinating that I was simply driven to keep reading well into the the wee hours of morning. I would describe myself as having lost my faith, not unlike some of the characters in the book. I am not a religious fanatic and I am not an atheist. Some have suggested in their reviews that if you want to know the truth, just read the Bible. Anyone who has read Revelations will admit that it is, to say the least, cryptic. A non-believer as well as the most devout Christian would need help in interpreting its' meaning. I suggest anyone interested in learning more about the Christian faith, read this book. Believers and non-believers, stoic-Christians and the fallen - all could benefit from this fictional interpretation of what the end could be like. Will it bring you to God? Will it restore your faith? Will it help you to decipher the hidden meanings of the Bible? I don't know, but this I do know; The worst thing that could happen is that you hate this book and you think you've wasted $...... The best thing that could happen is that you begin to see the world in a different light and you want to strengthen your relationship with God...for me, a chance at having the latter is a bargain for the asking.

Review: I bought this book on the recommendation of a friend...and I cannot THANK her enough! The book has changed my life! I have always enjoyed reading...I love the written word. This has got to be, by far, one of the BEST books I have ever read! I highly suggest the entire series! The authors and their books are blessings.

Summary: Best Christian fiction series I have ever read!
Review: I have read all but the newest book in this entire series and I think the authors have done a superb job of mixing fiction with Scripture and Spiritual truth. The characters are believable and become so real. All of these books make a person realize the importance of knowing the Word and accepting Jesus as Savior. All of this is done in novels that are action-packed. They are page-turners. God bless you Tim and Jerry! WONDERFUL!

Summary: READ THIS BOOK!
Review: I read the book Left Behind. I thought it was a really good book. It was about these four kids who really don't belive in God, but their families did. Since the kids didn't belive in God, they didn't go to heaven. The people that did go to Heaven didn't take anything with them. Not even their fillings! I thought it was a really good teen and adult book. READ IT!

Summary: Captures you from the start!
Review: This is only the first book of the series....and I can't seem to put any of them down (currently am on #3)... but this is a "must-read" for Christians and non-Christians alike (although the Bible is the better source.) If you don't know the Lord, you may wish you did, because knowing what could happen (even if this is fiction) is extremely terrifying. It is filled with romance, murder, politics, international intrigue---you name it---it's in these books. Buy this one, and you will soon agree---you can't wait to get to the next book, and the next, and the next...
