Summary: STUNNING!
Review: Left Behind is a stunning depiction of the first weeks of a post-Rapture Earth. The images and emotions were so real and so plausible that the book was almost impossible to put down. I just finished this book less than 30 minutes agon and I am on line to order the second installment right away!

Summary: Interesting STORY, but not great writing
Review: I began reading the "Left Behind" series with a bit of apprehension, thinking I would probably come across blantant "my religion is right and yours isn't" attitudes. Unfortunately I was not mistaken. I have read all three available books, and I am really not sure I will be able to stomach another one, much less all four of the coming sequels for the following reasons.

1. The story is very interesting, but the writing is poor. The characters are flat, and the way they all come together is a tad contrived. The "love stories" within the story are obvioulsy thrown in for popular appeal, and the constant reminiscings of the characters back to how their story started are annoying. The writing is typical of a book written for a grade school audience.

2. I do not deny that the story told could actually happen, but I have a big problem with the fact that this story was obviously written to scare people into converting to the religion of the authors.

3. I have to just come right out and say that I am a Catholic, and I was totally offended by the portrayl of a particular Catholic who was left behind. No religious denominations are mentioned in the books besides the Catholics and the Jews. When you get right down to it, Jesus was born a Jew and He started the Catholic Church. All other Christian religions from that point on have broken off of the Catholic Church. I believe that God put us on this earth with a Free Will to decide what kind of person we want to be. I refuse to believe that He will only allow into Heaven those of us who have been "Saved" into a particular religion.

Having said all that, these are not the worst books I have ever read. I chose to read them as a story rather than a prophecy, and as a story they aren't bad, even if the writing isn't superb. These books will cause you to think and take stock of your relationship with God, regardless of your religion.

Summary: One of The Best
Review: I have to say this book is one of the best Christian based nolels I have read in a very long time. This book has everything. Even a little romance. I'm not really sure what the end times will be like. But this is a great fiction book and to anyone who have not read the other two Tribulation Force and Nicole you really should check them out. I am counting the days till the next one come out!

Summary: Great books, can't wait for the next in the series
Review: I have been reading these since they first came out and just yesterday the fourth in the series(Soul Harvest) was released. I'm already finished. I'm 16 and love to read. Besides this series I also enjoy Frank Peretti, another great christian author. The book of Revelation has always intrigued me and I think they did an excellent job of interpreting it. You can be a skeptic if you wish but I am not going to be here when it happens because I'll be with Jesus in the air. So remember be prepared because even if he doesn't come during your time you will still die. Oh and one more thing the greatest book ever that will explain all of this and more is always the bible. Steph Rev 1:3

Summary: It was AWESOME
Review: This book is Awesome! I mean, it is so real! What really got to me was that this is actually really going to happen. I don't think about the rapture too often and when I do, it is hard to comprehend. This book made it so clear. It was touching and it upset me to see how confused the people will all be and how easily they will be misguided during this time. We need to leave this world something for those LEFT BEHIND to find. The rapture IS coming! And soon. This book followed what the Bible says about the rapture so that also was moving. It was awesome. You really should read it. It will have an powerful impact on how you view this world.

Summary: Read first three book - excellent and thought provoking!
Review: I started reading the first three books on a Thursday and couldn't put them down untill I had all three read. Then I was disappointed that I finished so fast and would have to wait till August for Soul Harvest. I am a constant reader of all topics and types of books, but very few have kept me so engrossed and fasinated. They are now being shared and read by my sisters (6), so there is at least seven I know who love them.

Also, today, I picked up Soul Harvest. Thank you for not waiting till August. Also, to the person who wanted to know if a picture is going to be made, the jacket cover revealed that the first two novels are in the process of being made into a movie -- no other details.

Anyway, my review -- great read -- should be on everyones list as a Must Read Chronicle (7 books total). Even if you don't agree, it will make you stop and think about things in a different light. To the Authors --- Thank You!

Summary: Fast-paced, insightful and geared to the truth.
Review: I read this book in three days - couldn't put it down! A must for every Christian, it will open your eyes to the need for evangelism today. The characters are believable and the story line flows, interweaving the truth of the Scriptures throughout the book. I can't wait to read the other books in the series, Tribulation Force and Nicholae.

Summary: I want to be part of the Tribulation Force
Review: How can anyone read this and not be inspired to tell their non-Christian friends about Jesus? He IS coming and what happens in this book will be REAL, if not with these exact details. Don't let anyone you know be left behind, wondering what happened. Don't let them assume it was aliens or a nuclear reaction. Even if they won't accept now, make sure they know enough so that when it happens, they will be able to fall on their face before the REAL and AWESOME and MIGHTY God who is going to take those who love him and leave many behind. Christians: there will come a time when we will see and touch and know God in an eternal way. He has conquered and He will do it again, once and for all!

Summary: Not even finished yet!
Review: I just had to write this even though I'm not even partly through the book, I just have to express the power of the words. When I read about the Christian High School soccor game I was just overwelhmed and started crying buckets at the thought of it. How wonderful The Rapture will be! And bittersweet as well. Just had to comment.

Summary: It's a great book
Review: I was supprisingly pleased with the work of LaHaye and Jenkins. The book deals with the complex thoughts that have escalated in interest over the last couple of years. Once I had started, the plot of a man searching for tuth among his sins left me restless for more. His passion to lead his daughter to the light is surpassed only by his new love of God. I was so impressed with the book, that in a matter of three days I had finished all 468 pages, and was searching for a bookstore that carried the other two series. I thouroughly enjoyed this book. It will leave you speachless, like it has left me =^).
